But to get down to business, I've got the task of getting this little piece of the board into a new and healthy state. However, I am more than open to suggestions, and although I have a fair few ideas of my own tucked away, I wondered if anyone else reading out there has anything they want to suggest.

Anyway to answer your question, I'm interested to see where everyone thinks the Bond series is going. Since it appears MGM will soon be owned by Sony how will they change the series?

Congrats QTR, it was a long and hard battle, but in the end, I think Jo had to fall back on the fact that you're English and I'm not.;)

Anyway, my idea is kind of simple: Less listing, more discussion. Instead of the threads where we say "Best bond girl, best bond car", there ought to be threads for each bond movie, so you can discuss everything you liked/didn't like without it being just lists.

Whats quite worrying is how great minds can think alike ;) One of the ideas I put forward in my application was to have a discussion of each Bond movie. My plan is to open a thread for each Bond movie, in chronological order, on a "when I can be bothered" basis ;). That will be around once a week, more or less depending on how that discussion is moving along.

I won't be doing away with the lists though...far from it. I'll probably still be coming up with polls left and right and centre. My job is to get people posting, and I'm looking to get this place moving. I'm hoping to get an even mix of lists and discussion...that way we can talk about individual movies and the series as a whole. I may also be starting up a few things of a quiz/game type nature as and when they come to me. I'll try and fine an even mix of all types of threads.

If anyone else wants to add to my new masterplan ;). Oh, and feel free to set up any threads you like to help keep the place ticking over.

If anyone else has any suggestions, I'm still here and I'm still open to them.

Ps- I'm more welsh that english. Still, Timothy Dalton was welsh and he didn't do a bad job at all.
