The Grudge looks scary as hell!!!!!

I went and saw the white chicks(8/10) today and they showed a trailer for the grudge and I have never been so scared of a trailer before. move over the ring this is going to kick your ass back down that well

The trailer was just ok. It wasn't anything special. But I like Sarah Michell Gellar so I'll see this.

BTW is that Bill Pullman I saw in the trailer? If so, that's another reason to see this. I haven't seen him around in along time and if that was him then it's nice to see him back on screen finally.

Trailer didn't do anything for me, seems an awful lot like a shot-by-shot remake without the gargling sound featured in the series.

I can't wait to see this flick. I'm a huge Sarah Michelle Gellar fan and I've been anticipating this trailer for a while. I gotta say it met my expectations. This could be one scary ass movie, I just hope it isnt too much like The Ring (girl crawling down stairs anyone?).

It's a remake. But with the cast it has, it's bound to be good.

yeah i hope they make it scarier than the original tho. I mean, the original had its moments (there were some times when it REALLY freaked me out -for anyone who has seen the movie, the hair and tap scene), but it was really slow for the majority of the film...not much plot-wise happens (especially when compared to The Ring/Ringu which it is still too similar too) so hopefully they'll have added more meat to the movie.

Oh, and the epilogue was...ehhhh so hopefully they'll cut it out or make it a bit better.

I still have faith that Dark Water will be good. The original is decent, just not as good as The Ring or Ringu was. And that's really what people should be remaking - movies that had problems but could be great minus those problems. That's what remakes should be for.

About The Grudge/Ju-On...i still haven't seen Ju-On but i heard it's very weird and some people didn't like it, but I've also heard a general consensus that it's a freaky ass movie. The trailer was decent, not a blow-you-out-of-this-world type trailer, but it was above average and it got me somewhat excited for the remake. But Sarah Michelle Gellar should have dark hair dammit! She looks so good with dark hair heheheh...that was out of the blue but ah well.

it looks pretty nice... its Sam raimi... and well.. he kicks ass.

But i swore while watching it i seriously thought it was a preview for The Ring 2... it looks decent.. it all depends on what its opening up against on whether or not i see it!

personaly i'm not a big fan of japanese movie's being transformed in American one's.
But seeing the trailer it looks like its going to be pretty much the same,accept for sharah,but i personaly dont like her,her acting isnt that great..But i guess for Ju-on thats not that much of a problem..the japanese was pretty cool,it won first prize at scream-fest.
