Hilton Eyes D&D 2?

Heiress Paris Hilton reportedly told a Kansas City radio station that she is in talks for a lead role in a proposed sequel to the 2000 film Dungeons & Dragons, according to the Dark Horizons Web site. "Sounds like fun," Hilton reportedly said. "I'll get dirty."

The first Dungeons & Dragons movie tanked, but a proposed sequel is reportedly on the drawing board. Joel Silver (The Matrix) produced the first film and also developed House of Wax, the upcoming remake of the classic horror movie, in which Hilton has a small part.

What's worse: Dungeons and Dragons is getting a sequel or that Hilton would star in it?

Well, it's better than making a sequel to a good movie that actually made money (like fuckin' Mystery Men, man...).

I love the D&D game, too bad the movie sucked. They should based it in one of the books.

But... Paris Hilton? Maybe she can be like a queen of the undead or something.

Come on, Dungeons & Dragons wasn't that big of a bomb. It made roughly half of it's money back domestically, and with DVD/VHS and international ticket sales it definitely made a profit.

That's not too say the movie didn't suck...because from what I can remember, it was pretty bad. And I doubt Paris Hilton's presence will make or break the sequel -- it will be awful with or without her ;). Wait, that's unfair because the sequel could rock; But I'll never know.

Maybe they can get Shawn Wayans for this one.

i quite liked the Dungeons & Dragons film, sure it should have been a lot better but it was still fun, maybe if they go for a more serious tone as game was and use a better director it would be a better....although Hilton should be locked up in a cage and dropped in the sea

terrible news...the first D&D looked so unlike the RPG itself, and just looked too damn poor... I watched about 15 minutes of it on encore, and thought the same thoughts...poor.

When you hear what sequels will be coming out you really have to wonder sometimes. I hope they dont' think paris has the star power to save this movie

I actually liked the first Dungeons and Dragons... so a sequel wouldn't be too bad of a thing for me. But Paris Hilton? That sounds like a really bad idea...

Come on guys, she's not ugly and I know all of u guys out there would tap that ass if she gave you the chance.

Anyways, if they fired all the people involved in the first film and get Tim Burton or Peter Jackson to direct than they might have a pretty good film in their hands. BUT ! that will never happen so I guess were gonna have another shitty ass movie in theaters soon.

God...
I love D&D. I love the game, I love Fantasy Books...
I hated the movie.
What they need is a good director, someone who can really take the helm and make it a good project. It has the potential; there are unlimited plotlines in the D&D universe. But when you get a jackoff director and writer to work at it, the results are much like the first one. And, unfortunately, Mr. Moneybags leads the studios and, since he wants another sackfull of cash, will likely turn this project into a childish stupid adventure for 4yo LotR fans.
The REAL fanbase is older. I think the Production Companies need to know that before touching a script.

They've actually managed to make a bad idea much, much worse. :(
