What are some of the little notables you have seen or heard in horror flicks that you think you only picked up on.

One thing that I noticed was in Return of the Living Dead, when they have the torso of the zombie up on the examination if you look at the bottom of the screen you can see the spinal cord leaking spinal fluid.
I'm sure some of yall have noticed that but it is a nice touch.
. . . any others?

I read somewhere that in one of the nightmare movies there is Jason's mask and in one of the Friday movies is freddy's glove. not 100% on that though.

In Friday 9 we can see Freddys Glove...and on Nightmare part 4 the dog that wakes up freddy is named Jason...i mean..had anyone noticed that!!!!

On Nightmare part 3 when this guy is fighting the freddy skeleton it looks so damn fake..has anyone noticed that!!!LOL

In Nightmare 4 theres something i´ve always liked and i feel like its me the only one who have noticed that when freddy is awakening and his body fluids are coming back and etc..when his eyes pop out they make this weird noise "pluck"...i´ve always noticed that sound...have you?

I certainly noticed it, difficult not to spot such a poor special effect. Horrible animation.

I think the shit animation gives it more character. I love stop motion animation! Too bad CGI made it obsolete.

In The Exorcist: The Version You've Never Seen
there are all kinds of little things added besides the "crab walk".
That evil devil face flashes on walls in the house throughout the movie. Plus, when the guy has Regan under hypnosis, her face changes into a demon looking face.

I wouldn't go that far, it hardly complimented the movie. I was half expecting a stop motioned King Kong to appear in the scene:D

Yeah, another part I find it hilarious is when Craig Wasson grabs the hubcap, and the stop motion skeleton knocks it out of his hand during it's assault.
I guess it's his reaction. Like, "Holy Shit!" :D

Classic

Well,

On Evil Dead there's a poster for The Hill's Have Eyes in the basement, then on a Freddy film there's a guy watching Evil Dead, then on Evil Dead 2, Freddy's glove is in the outhouse/shed.

Oh, and do the faces on the wall in the "never seen" Exorcist movie still have subliminal messages?

What do you mean?

Anyways, when I was watching Halloween H20, I noticed that it was a piece of shit.

Well..I loved H20..i saw it on a movie theater...It was the first time i saw Mike on the Big Screen and the decapitation ending was damn cool....i got goosebumps from that moment when it happened then que the Halloween theme and then..it was over...to me..that WAS the ending...everyone on the movie theater appaluded at the end of it..it was awesome.

About the skeleton on stop motion..well..look at the skeleton on Army of Darkness..that was hilarious!!!

Did anyone noticed on JAWS where there´s a star falling from the sky in 2 sequences!!!!

Say...did anyone noticed the little boy on 3 Men and a baby before all the media hoopla!!!! I did!!!I swear on all my FANGOS AND HORROR MOVIE COLLECTION i did!!!!

Yep I noticed a star falling just before they break in to song and the subsequent shark attack that followed.

The demon face that flashes (in the excorcist) has subliminal messages to disturb the veiwer.

And i second your other comment!

And the "three men and a baby" thing, it's actually a cardboard cut out of fred dansen (i think thats his name, you know the guy from "cheers"?) The urban legend is that a little boy got mudered on the set months before and its his ghost.

There's a nice history behind that.

In the trailer for The Hills Have Eyes, there was a Jaws poster being ripped in half, with wich Wes Craven wanted to say: "did you think Jaws was scary? Take a look at this!"
The 'THHH' poster in The Evil Dead was ripped in half too, with wich Sam Raimi said "No, this is the real horror"

Since that moment, Wes Craven and Sam Raimi have been putting blinks to each others movies in their flicks.

Here's another faux-par I noticed, there's a scene in Salem's Lot when Ralphie makes his final visit to Danny in the hospital. If you look closely when Danny opens the window you're given a side view of Ralphie floating in, because of the position of the cameraman you can see his reflection perfectly. You gotta laugh, it doesn't exactly add to the scenes 'chill-factor':D

I don't know if no one else saw it but in They when she was looking at the pictures of her past in one where shes blowing out her candles, there was a "they" behind her you could see his glowing eyes... it was crazy.. or I was wasted and was seeing things.

I re-say that uber cool touch in Final Destination 2 with Rory's dead corpse being dragged by the jack-knifed truck that hits him in the crash sequence.

Also in End Of Evangelion. I'm sure some of you've noticed: *SPOILERS*

When Rei starts turning people into LCL, it gets to Maya (the girl in NERV). Well, she's checking something in her computer when Rei appears behind her in the shape of Ritsuko. Ritsuko quickly types something, catching Maya's attention. She turns around to see Ritsuko, who hugs her. She dramatically delivers her final lines "Sempai! Sempai! Sempai!!" and then goops up into LCL. We see her hand splatter against the monitor that reads "I Need U".

I always get emotional in that scene. God, I love this movie.

So does some scenes in the exorcist 3.

They put subliminal messages in to stir your emotions.

Could you elaborate?.

Anyway here's another er....cock-up I think only I have noticed, there's a scene from Witchboard where Zarabeth is running from Malfeitor, as she runs up the stairs the camera follows taking the viewpoint of the ensuing spirit, only problem is you can see some of the crew, including the cameraman, as shadows running up the wall!!. Again it kinda took much of the impact away from an otherwise well executed scene. I had to laugh!!:D

The hand doesn't go across the monitor! The hand is like, what, a fifth the size of the thing is flies across? Not to mention it's flying across something horizontal, not vertical (as the screen would be). It was the panel. That's why I'm still trying to figure out just where that "i need u" came from . . .

I never caught anything like that in Exorcist III, but I think you are referring to the flashing image of Pazuzu's face in Damien's dream. It was designed to be a quick flash, so the viewer would get a scare from it, but not be able to recall the exact features as it was so quick, just the fact they didn't like what they just saw.

Oh come on! Why don't you freeze frame and go frame by frame on the hands typing. You'll see that she types "I Need U". And her hand just . . . crashes against the monitor.

EDIT:
X was right.

I know, that means I was wrong. But if you think about it, I wasn't, not really. I was simply challening everyone else to inspect this detail, challening them to prove themselves. That's all. So in a way, I AM right.

All's right with the world.

I've noticed that in Halloween 5, when Tina is chasing the kittens, you can still see Michael Myers behind the doors silhouette(however the hell you spell it)
