GOSLING: FILMING SEX IS BETTER THAN VIOLENCE

Hollywood actor Ryan Gosling prefers filming sex scenes to playing psychopaths -- because violent roles upset his mother Donna.

The 23-year-old Canadian found shooting his latest movie, "The Notebook," difficult because he was required to romp with co-star Rachel McAdams.

But, Gosling found it easier than his role as an American Nazi in 2001's "The Believer."

He explains, "How would you like it (filming sex scenes)? Anyone can go see it. Your mother can go see it.

"But it's a lot easier than playing psychopaths. My mother saw 'The Believer' and she ran into the bathroom and she started crying."
