It is led up to be a small quiet town In the first one anyway. Then all the sudden in Part 2 it has a hospitol. I dont know of many small towns with Hospitols. Then in Part 5 it has a Clinic for meantilly ll children. What???? In little Haddonfield. So ya now that it has a Hospitol, Clinic lets make it have a college. Yep part 8 now theres a Haddonfield College. Not a small college either. How many people live in this town!!??? It is not a samll town when it has.
1 A Hospitol
2 A Childrens Clinic
and
3 A College.
I'm just making it clear that Haddonfield although led up to be A Small Town could very well be a small city.

Not to rain on your parade, but I grew up in a small midwestern town very much like the mythical Haddonfield. It had (and still has) a population of about 8,000 and has a very large and well-respected hospital, a psych ward on the other side of town for mentally challenged individuals, a two-year Junior College, as well as one of the biggest manufacturers of washing machines in the country. I'm guessing you'd find lots of small towns throughout the country with similar stories.
That Haddonfield has all that it shows in the movies isn't so far-fetched. That it has had a maniac killer on the loose who slaughters teens on Halloween for the last 25 years and yet the holiday is still celebrated there - now THAT'S farfetched.

Totally!!! I live in a tiny little city called Hereford in the UK. It's probably 20 times smaller than an average U.S town and it has everything that's shown in the HALLOWEEN films. ;)

I agree the town must be huge considering when Annie picks up Laurie it is broad daylight (not even duskish) yet when they arrive at the Doyles it is pitch black.

Nah. They were just high, and forgot where they were going.

What I find troubling about Haddonfield's hospital is that it is pretty damn big (it has different wings) but yet the night crew only consists of about five or six people. And that's INCLUDING security. Strange... Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.
