Dead Halloween

Last night I was about to go to a dinner when I turn on the tv and I see this scene when there's a bunch of people in what it seem like a satanic ritual and a naked guy covered in mud in the middle. Then some guy in a black tunic gives him a white snake and the naked guy swallows it. Everyones start stabing themselves an each other after that.
I thought "Woah, this looks cool". but suddenly appears some guy in a rubber superhero suit who looks like a cross between Batman, Devilman and a Power Rangers Villain reject.
I was like "WTF?!" and turned the Tv off and go to have dinner.
I live in Mexico, so it wasn't aired in the U.S

That was in fact Brian Yuznas "Faust", and the guy swallowing the snake was no other than Jeffery Coombs!!!
A much maligned film, I actually hold a little soft spot for it....it's just too cheesy not to like.

Actually, I found it very easy not to like.
Horrible, horrible movie. The acting was atrocious, the story inane, and the action and gore scenes were all poorly done.

Faust was silly, gory, and had quite a bit of sex. In some ways, films can make up for their lack of a decent story with these sorts of shenanigans. It just depends on how lenient you are for a plotless hour and a half.
I enjoy the film, it's shits and giggles that doesn't skimp on the giggles.

I dont know if the movie is any good...the trailer looked goofy.
The black and white comic "Faust" by creator Tim vigil is excellent! Very bloody, violent and grusome...my kind of comic book! :D

"Faust" (the movie) is actually pretty damn good...........until the lead puts-on that damn goofy-looking rubber costume! It ruined the whole movie!
Sometimes superhero costumes from the comics don`t translate too well in movies, folks. There`s a reason why the X-Men didn`t wear their comic-book costumes in the movies.

Yeah it was Faust. Haven't read the comic but I thought the movie was decent.

Yep, it's definitely Faust, and it's been summed up pretty well already. A trashy, enjoyable film, which I agree is better on a second viewing - that crap costume really does take the piss, but I was more prepared for it the second time round..! If you're in the right mood, it's good fun. And it also has Andrew Divoff, (of Wishmaster 'fame'), giving another amusingly evil performance.

I gave this a rent and was looking forward to it but as soon as i saw the dudes costume i fell asleep. However, i watched the trailor for it on the Beyond Re-Animator Disc and it actually looks ok aside from the horrible...horrible...HORRIBLE costume.
