My Catwoman review

I was able to get a screening of this

Let me go ahead and say this. This was not the debacle I was expecting but it was not good. It was basically mediocre. I cant stay for long so let me make this short and sweet.


Pro:

-Interesting fighting style, that is before the camera becomes n spastic and real time is replaced mostly with GGI by the end.

-Sharon Stone. I wanted to see more of her. She was the most interesting thing in the movie.


-Playing to all the cat sense.

-Alex Bostein as her friend had a lto of great lines.


Bad-

-Halle Berry. Sometimes she worked and sometimes she didnt. I didnt buy her as a meek person in the beggining. Once she became Catwoman her tongue in the cheek acting either hit the right notes or didnt.

-Benjamin bratt- While he wasnt awful his character was the worst part. Bland and so boring as the love interest.

-The tongue in cheek humor either worked or didnt.

-The twist at the end where did that come from.



in the end it gets a

How much cheese was in the movie? Is it so cheesy that we should wear bibs so we don't get it on our clothes, or not very cheesy in all?

ITs EXTREMELY cheesy but intentionally so. The problem some of the cheesy or tongue in cheek jokes fall flat and some dont. The ones that worked seemed to be the ones where everyone wasnt feverishly winking at the camera (metaphorically of course).

Bah! I don't want this movie to be 5/10. I want the most spectacular crapfest of all time! I love bad movies and hoped this would be the worst. Oh well, I'll still be there on opening weekend. ;)

I know this sounds bad but I almsot wish it was Godawful. It would ahve been more fun t han a mediocre film.

But itll be a hit since all the guys loved. Most rated it excellent becuase apparetly Halle Berry looked hot.


Now for the twist if anyones curious

Much like in Batman Returns our lead is killed becuase she learns company secrets. Here Berry learns that the beauty company she works for will be selling a cream t hats toxic and will make womens face melt off. How it would benefit the company to sell this who knows.

The twist at the end though completely contradicts the begginign. Apparently your face only rots off when you stop using it. If you continue your skin becaome super strong and unbreakable. Came out of nowhere. Also it was obviously put in there becuase they couldnt have just Stone fight Catwoman. Catwoman would kick her ass. So suddenly Stone has super stron skin.

I dont know if you want to e-mail the answer or post so ill do both. I saw the screening at the Warner Brothers lot after I got one of those little flyers that said when and where the movie is. The free movie passes people always seem to congregate at the theater I go to at a designated time. i keep that in mind when seeing a film.
