LOS ANGELES - Pop vixen Britney Spears is engaged to marry her dancer-boyfriend Kevin Federline, the singer’s representatives said Friday.

News of the engagement was first reported by People magazine on its Web site, and was confirmed by Spears’ personal publicist and her label, Jive Records.

The engagement comes about six months after Spears was granted an annulment to dissolve her surprise two-day marriage in Las Vegas to a childhood friend.

Spears and Federline became an item two months ago when they were photographed and interviewed while canoodling on the beach in Santa Monica, Calif. The incident became instant gossip-page fodder, especially when it was revealed that Federline was expecting a baby with his then-girlfriend Shar Jackson. Federline and Jackson also have another child together. Spears and Federline have been constant companions since the beach incident.

Spears, 22, recently announced she was canceling an upcoming summer tour after undergoing surgery to repair a knee injury she suffered while shooting a music video.

I know what's going on here.

Spears doesn't really want to get married. The problem is that Federline has this special ability; when he kisses her, a small cloud of green mist flies into her mouth when she takes in a breath, and she has no choice but to do whatever he wants her to do.
She even wanted to fill out a pre-nup, but then he kissed her and she tore it up in his face (just like those 7 times it was done in Intolerable Cruetly).

That explains everything! :p

BTW, there's only one person I know of on this planet who isn't susceptable to this green mist of influence...

Amen. Brit's got issues. She went from Justin Timberlake to this piece of chicken-fried horseshit?
