STING: DRUGS ARE OK
Veteran rocker Sting has blown apart his clean-cut image -- by extolling the virtues of marijuana.
The singer -- who is married to film producer Trudi Styler -- has argued drugs are not as dangerous as politicians say and that he is living proof they don't kill you.
And Sting -- who admits he has consumed more drugs than many addicts -- says his sex life has never been impaired by his enthusiasm for banned substances.
Sting says, "I've had numerous experiences with drugs. I can smoke marijuana and not lose my head. I'm still having excellent sex."

At least he wasn't extolling the virtues and advantages to cocaine. But still, must we continue to hear about his sex life, even while under the influence of pot?

I really think that this guy could be given any topic in the world and somehow manage to connect it to his sex life.

Reporter: What's your opinion on the war in Iraq?
Sting: Well, I think it started out on the wrong foot but eventually it was worth it....much like the sex I had last night.

There's nothing wrong with Marijuana. Hell, i don't even consider it to be a drug. I call it an herb.

So did Jimi Hendrix. ;)
Seriously, though...I would be one of the people who would use the stuff if it were legal. It never bothered me when I used it, but it still has adverse affects, much like alcohol and cigarettes. Since I literally can't have booze, this would be the next best thing.

I'm glad the stuff is illegal. I'd never get anything accomplished.

Yeah, it is probably agreeable to the life of a multi-millionaire rock star. I know a guy who smokes a lot and he has totally disengaged from life. all he wants to do it get high all the time. His friends have totally given up on him cause he's totally unreliable. It started out as recreational. Some people can't handle it so Sting should be careful what he is preaching.

He's just like James Logan---neither of them can resist a chance to talk about making the beast of two backs.
hmmm...has anyone ever seen them in the same room together? no? hmmm, i might be on to something there...
