"Malena" DVD query...

Alright, so the movie Malena is available from www.deepdiscount.com for 13.80, but it's the edited R1 version.

www.hkflix.com (which I've been having trouble accessing lately) has the uncut 2 disc SE for a good price, but it says it's R3 only.

However, on ebay, there are a lot of seller s with the same package saying that the cover says R3, but it really plays on all regions.

Is it worth risking ordering from hkflix, or are the ebay seller simply bootlegging the discs and putting them in the original case?

This is the cover of the uncut, two-disc, extras-loaded region 0 (meaning playable worldwide) Korean version of Malena. It looks like it has everything somebody who's want the DVD would ask for, and you can find it on Ebay for cheap prices. Hope that helps.

yes, the reason i've held off on buying the n. american release is because i heard it was a severely cut version of it. to this day, i don't think i've seen teh full version but i love the cut version...

but yeah, i'm definitely considering getting it online as well...when i get some money :p

I also have the uncut Korean version. It's the exact same one sold on HKFlix.com. The package says its region 3, but its really region 0. It's $14 from koreandvds.com, with about $6 shipping.
I havent seen the cut version ... anyone know exactly which scenes are cut?
