Man I am loving this. Watching the republicans freak out, because the truth is finally getting out. Kind of reminds me of when you turn on a light and watch all the cock roachs scatter in panic. this is just beautiful. As far as moore distorting the truth, i could care less. that is what bush has been doing for 4 years. It's about time he took his meds!! I can't wait until november, i don't care who wins just as long as it isn't him.

Could you be so kind as to supply the names of WHICH Republicans..and how EXACTLY are they "freaking out"?

Or better yet, can we have this closed because Fahrenheit 9/11 is not an upcoming movie, already has 10,000 threads dedicated to it, and this will burst into a political debate (republicans vs democrats, how original)?

I figured that this post would be closed, i just figured that i would throw my hat into this fun fest! also i don't know every single republican out there. Just look for the ones that tried to bully some theatres into not showing the movie or look for the ones that tried to put the movie in the same category as political advertising so that it coudn't be advertised on tv this time of year. look around they are scattering i don't need to name names, they are raising there hands.

So again this thread should be closed because not only does it not belong in this category, but you are making baseless claimes as well and refusing to even attempt to back them up.

Close please.

*sniff* *sniff* ahh the smell of fear, I love it. Look if you really want me to then i will name names, but you and i both know that i don't have to. It is abvious that this movie is directed towards the current president and it is abvious that it is meant to basically make sure that he is not re-elected. I am neither republican or democrat, hell i am not even independent i am for who is best for this country, and over the years i have watched the media repeatedly give the president a way out. I was watching the news the other day and the president was on commenting on the prison torture. He proceeded to mispronounce the name of the prison and then pause for like 5 five seconds then spouted something stupid. this is not the type of president that i wan't I want a leader that can speak! when he can't even pronounce the name of the prison that people were tortured at, that basically means you are don't give a crap! And i want someone that can do the job. Simple as that! It is simple logic he can't do the job, therefore he shouldn't be in power. Done!

Mr. Glass,

I'm eagerly waiting for my chance to get to see this film as are many other schmoes. However, most of what is being said in here I agree with. There are numerous other 9/11 threads that have been opened up, started getting political, and then they shut down. This isn't the appropriate section of the boards, especially as it is a "Current Movie", and is in there.

I'm not really a mark on these things, but its getting worse around here with 9/11 talk then when the Kill Bill volumes came out.

We've got a thread in the current movie section, and for political discussion we've got one there too.
