Make your own Batman movie!

Well... Seeing how nobody here has the resources to actually make a Batman movie, we'll just pretend that we do... And we've just taken the producer out to lunch. Here's the pitch!

My Batman movie would be an adaptation of "Batman: The Long Halloween", a graphic novel by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale featuring a story from Batman's early days. Gotham city is caught in a gang war between the old crime organizations (Carmine "The Roman" Falcone, Sal "The Boss" Maroni, and their respective families). And to make matters worse, there's a serial killer on the loose, known only as "Holiday", named after the dates of which his victims are murdered. All this, and the tragic origin of one of Batman's greatest foes, Two-Face. Make sure you've got plenty of room on the edge of your seat...

Director: David Fincher - He's a master at dark atmosphere and using light and shadow to convey mood, and he's got plenty of kick-ass action scenes on his resume.

The Long Halloween kicks ass.

I would love to make a Kingdom Come movie. But it would be really expencive and the mainstream audience would not know more than 12% or less of the metahumans in the movie.

I'd go for a movie where Batman is accused/framed for a crime (probably murder) and hunted by police, and a new character - a bounty hunter of some sort. While he tries to find the real killer, he fights off the b. hunter and the police and the usual villain(s) who are trying to kill him.

Something like that. A dark, gothic Batman movie - not to dissimilar in style from Burton's flicks.
