If it's a good movie i'll watch it many times, and if it sucks only once.

Every DVD is different. If it's one of my favorites, I watch it a lot. Otherwise just once and while.

It depends. Some of my DVds i've only watched once or twice but others i have watched upwards of 50 times (eg. The Evil Dead).

Well my absolute favourite ive lost count how many timesive seen. Also certain scenes ive watched ALOT of times to learn from etc. Special features are the things i usually dont touch more than a few times though.

It ranges from once to infinity.

Same here.

I purchase DVD's that I tend to watch over, and over again. And then theres DVD's that I only watch a handfull of times.

As far as special features are concerned, I try to go over them atleast once. If the DVD doesnt have like 9 hours of bonus material though. But if theres a documentary included to a film I really love, I usually watch those atleast 4-5 times.

Would LOVE to see TCM get another special edition with the documentary thats only on the R2 version. :)

Ditto. I only buy movies I rate 8/10 and higher, so it's guaranteed I watch them all a lot.

It often depends on the mood I'm in, if I'm in the mood for a favourite (Terminator, LOTR, Matrix etc...) then quite often. Anything that isn't a favourite... hmm, just no so often I guess.

Well, there are some I haven't even watched yet. Some only once or twice. Many that I watch all the time.

I try to watch my movies a lot...but some I do watch more than others. It just depends on what kind of mood I'm in.

I watched them once when I first buy them. And when there is nothing on tv, I pick one out and watch it. I told myself one day I will start watching one dvd a night and check them off as I go.
I have watched many dvds more than once, and there are many dvds that I never even touch the special features yet.

Don't take this personal, but your taste is shot. I could barely bare watching that ONCE.

(poking good fun at you; you are an obvious sincere fan)

generally if I BUY a movie it's one that I will watch several times. Occasionally I buy ones that I haven't seen in a while and that I like so I don't rent them. But as a rule, I usually do watch them multiple times, some more than others.

Not alot actually. It's probably a waste of money. Thanks for the reminder.

It all depends on the film. If it is a blind buy and I hate it, I usually watch it once, then try and get rid of it. But if it's a favorite or a blind buy I like, there is no telling how many times it will be watched.

With 90% of my DVDs, I go with this concept:

If I rent a movie, I'm usually late returning it. So that means I'll spend about $10.00 per rental.
If I like it, then I'll want to own it anyways.

I buy movies I know I'll watch more than 4 times. Usually, I'll see all of my movies at least 5 times.

With some movies (American Psycho, for instance), I'll watch it 30+ times.

Other movies (such as Groundhog Day), I watch about once a year. But in the end, I've gotten my money's worth from them.
Plus, I like to loan my movies out to friends. Free rentals for them, and the contribution to their memories is payment enough for me most of the time.

Double ditto.

I've seen all movies in my collection at least twice. When it comes to the ones I love more, it's about 5-7 times. As for my favorites, the number of viewings is barely countable.
