I think it's funny that a film titled PAULY SHORE IS DEAD actually could resurrect Shore's dead career. I think if it was any other film, audiences wouldn't give a crap about him, and they definitely wouldn't flock to see a film with him as the star. But since he can poke fun at himself, this has a chance to be a modest hit. I think it's all about reverse psychology, and Pauly figured that out.

Pauley Shore is one of the most annoying on screen presences EVER!

That is why it is so strange that this actually looks kinda amusing to me.

BTW, I still don't see this making even a dent if it comes out in theaters. It might have a chance on home video/DVD but not in theaters.
