Agreed. Though I was hoping I, ROBOT would get an R instead.

I wouldn't mind seeing a Rated R version of Bourne or I, Robot. I think both films could benefit from the freedom of the R.

Why would you want a movie to get a certain rating instead of what it got?

I can understand that. When I started seeing trailers for King Arthur, I said to myself, I hope this is rated R. It has a Braveheart vibe and looks like an R-rated movie. I was disappointed that it got a PG-13. Maybe it's similar to that.

So many PG-13 movies that should be R... it's a shame.

Considering that Alex Proyas' previous flicks were pretty dark (THE CROW, DARK CITY), and because the PG-13 rating (+ the trailers) seems to confirm that they're aiming for a big budget action crowdpleaser instead of what could possibly be a more intriguing science fiction tale, which I hear is what Isaac Asimov's book is.
