Okay so weve seen the film, or just looking ro the spoilers. Here is where we can discuss it.

So , spoilers*********************

I really enjoyed the movie. Wasnt suprised by the return of Harry's father at the end of the flick but was still cool to have. No Lizard as rumored though.

What did you guys think of the movie?

I should post a review up later.

Curt Connors was in the film so surely The Lizard did make an appearance.

I like the way Raimi is gradually evolving the Spidey storyline & not wasting supervillains in dumb-ass team ups like the way Joel Schumacher did for Batman.

The 3rd film is primed nicely for a Green Goblin Mark II match up & that suits me fine.

I was surprised (and pleased) that they were so blatant about Harry's legacy of becoming Goblin MK II, and the secret stash was straight out of the comics - perfect! James Franco's prtrayl of a young man twisting into a vengeful insanity was masterful, and I look forward to seeing how they handle this whole freinds/enemies dynamic in the third one.

My guess is that the Goblin / Spidey fued will be the main focus, but we may see either a small subplot with Doc Connors becoming the Lizard (possibly setting him up for the fourth film), or just a hint of his experiments with the reptilian formulae that create the Lizard.

Nice to see Betty Brand namechecked at last - it was obvious that it was her in the first film if you know your lore, but good to see her introduced, and maybe as a potential love interest for the third film, as she was in the comics for a while, creating a traingle.

Or, they may subtly introduce someone like Felicia Hardy (the Black Cat) in the third film to set up a love interest for future films should MJ not be in them, either through Dunst moving on, or maybe they'll weave the original Gwen Stacy death thing into the third by having harry kill MJ to get back at Peter...........

Love Ock - Alfred Molina nailed this character perfectly - for me, it was as if the character had just stepped off the pages of the comics, and the way he moved around using the tentacles - wonderful! Also like how he redeemed himself at the end, because at the heart of it, Doc isn't such a bad person, it's always been about the arms controlling him. (In the comics he even nursed Peter back to health once, admittedly so he could defeat him at full strength, but there you go.......)

Overall, loved it - I though Sam Raimi hit a home run with the first one, but this one wa out of the park! :D

Can't wait untiil 2007........
