Her Spanish is very bad. It's very convenient. When she has to be Latin,
she's Latin. But she doesn't know how to do it well.
JENNIFER LOPEZ: Salma Hayek and I are in two different realms. She's a sexy
bombshell and those are the kinds of roles she does. I do all kinds of
different things. It makes me laugh when she claims she got offered 'Selena'
before I got the role. That is an outright lie. If that's what she does to get
herself publicity, then that's her thing.

hmmmmm Hayek claims she was offered the role of Selena. Thats intersting....
As I recall the Selena's surviving family played a key role in choosing who was gonna play her. They eventually went w/ Lopez because she resembled their daughter.

JIM CARREY: Working with Tommy Lee Jones in 'Batman Forever' is not one of my
happiest memories. The night before my biggest scene he said some pretty nasty
things, along the lines of 'You're just a comic from cabaret, and I'm a
trained classical actor.' Sorry, Tommy Lee, your snide remarks didn't cut it.
They only made me work harder and do a better job. But I'd rather not act in
another movie with you anytime soon.
Thats a bummer, they had good chemistry together. Tommy Lee Jones seems like a nicer guy than that.

I have read that quite a few other people who have worked with him think he is a prick. I want to say that Wesley Snipes and Will Smith both said he is an ass to work with. I will try to find sources on that though.

He is one of Hollywood's notorious assholes. He lives or maybe used to live outside of San Antonio and a lot of townspeople hated him. I worked on his movie "Cheer Up" in Austin this past year and no one liked him. He was so cold and off putting. Plus, I'm sorry but he is not that good an actor.

ROSIE O'DONNELL: With Jay Leno, everbody has got to like him or he gets upset.
On my show I said I didn't like the way someone will come on The Tonight Show
and he'll say, 'That's a nice shirt, Ken - where did you get it, Kmart?' And
then start making fun of this guest instead of having a conversation. And Jay
called me later to complain about it. Whatta baby.
LOL
that's one thing i hate about leno.

I remember reading these in the newspaper a couple of years ago but they're still fun. Tommy Lee Jones does come off as a jackass. I thought Jim Carrey was awesome as The Riddler.
I know that Sharon Stone said Dwight Yoakam, who she dated, "had the personality of a dirt sandwich." He's now dating my coworker's 21 year-old cousin.

But yet she can invite Tom Selleck on the show to promote his new movie and then blindside him with an attack on the NRA? She is a real bitch.

HOWARD STERN: Sharon Stone claims she's tired of references to that scene where
she flashed her private parts in 'Basic Instinct'. That's ironic. If it
weren't for that scene, no one would have ever heard of her.
-HA! I love sarah michelle gellar's comment and frankenheimer. great stuff
-i also thought jones was a cool guy
-rosie odonnell is a horrible person. shes is NO ONE to talk. leno still sucks though

Did you hear about Vincent Gallo putting a curse on Roger Ebert because he bashed his movie "Brown Bunny?" Vincent apparently put a curse on Roger so his prostate would act up or something like that.

Oh I remember this. And I remember the family actually did go to Hayek first (she got famous before Lopez), but she turned it down because she thought it was waaaaaaaay too early to make a biopic of Selena. I think she had only been dead for a year or 2.

Roger's reply was better.
Vincent was railing on about how Roger Ebert was a fat, unhealthy bastard and everything, and Ebert's reply was priceless:
"It is true that I am fat. But one day I shall be thin, and he'll still be the directer of "Brown Bunny".

Woah, I didn't expect of Tommy Lee Jones to be such an asshole. But Jim Carrey was the best thing of "Batman Forever" anyway.
