Horror Talk XXIII: Poker Night III

[Duke Nukem]

Did you ever wonder what the horror icons would do if they chilled in some pad like regular people? That's what this skit, the 23rd in a storyline of skits, is all about - Seinfeld, only with the horror icons! Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees and Michael Myers are the main characters. Many of the other horror icons are supporting characters, Chucky is the top full-fledged supporting character among them. Basically, seeing the characters be "normal," I make these skits very funny and enjoyable to read. I've done a lot things with these characters and have established them as characters we can all relate to in some way.

This skit is the third Poker skit, where I have Freddy, Jason, Michael, Chucky, Pinhead and Leatherface, play poker. I've done this two other times, and this my third, and likely, final time doing it. The first one, the fourth skit in this whole series, was classic. The second Poker skit, the 12th skit, was not as classic, but still a goodie. This last one is no doubt is an improvement over the second, because it has more of the funny antics (and not just talk), that made the first Poker skit so classic. Anyway...enjoy!

Duke, I think I stand for everyone on these boards when I say these things are fucking excellent.

But please stop bumping them in case people think you're trying to raise your post count.

I realise you just want your work to be seen (hell, I was guilty of that with my Bloody Murder Analysis), but people might get pissed off if you keep bumping it. :(

It won't go off the bottom of the first page for at least a couple of days, so three bumps in a day is a bit needless.

Sorry my friend, just a bit of friendly Schmoe advice. Keep up the excellent work, and keep 'em coming! :)

You know, I bump up my "Horror Talk" threads, just so I can reach out to newer schmoes that might be interested. I'm not in it for bumping up my post count. My skits already get little attention as it is. I seem to have only 5-7 regular readers that always respond to my skits. Not that I'm doing this for attention or anything. I just put a lot of work in to all these things. But, maybe this will excite more people: next horror icon to cameo...ASH!!
