STONE WANTS TO SAVE BASIC INSTINCT SEQUEL


Sharon Stone has overturned her plan to take the producers of the ill-fated "Basic Instinct" sequel to court -- and she's considering going ahead with the project.

The actress sued producers of the film, claiming lost work and revenue, after they failed to commit to the sequel after she had.

Producers Andrew Vajna and Mario Kassar fired back claiming Stone issued so many over-the-top requests, studio bosses were forced to abandon the project.

Now Stone is talking to Vajna and Kassar with a view to saving the project -- and returning to the big screen in the film.

She says, "We're talking about that instead. It would be fun for everybody."

Basic Instinct was really memorable mainly because of the bush shot. It wasn't the script, or the direction, it was mainly the bush shot. But after 10 years, and her being 10 years older, and how crazy she's become, I'm really not interested in seeing that bush again. I say, let the film be abandoned

im not surprised since that one scene in basic instinct is the ONLY reason she is famous

A better headline would be
'STONE RETIRES, HOLLYWOOD REJOICES!'
I can't see her being a villain. What in God's name was she thinking when she took the role in Catwoman?
