Hey, I've seen Halloween 1 and 2, so the next logical choice would be Halloween 3, but I heard that it didn't really have anything to do with the Michael Myers storyline. Is this true and if so is it still worth watching?

No Halloween 3 has nothing to do with MM, and imo is not worth even watching at all.

Like the post above me #3 was SUPPOSED to have gone in a NEW direction but sadly was a big ass mistake hence rebirth of Michael Myers in #4......

Worth Watching?

Unless you are seeing it FOR FREE its not worth any form of money to see personally. I saw it ONCE when it cable. It royally sucked.

Whilst these guys above clearly didn't like HALLOWEEN 3, it's worth watching because I love and it, and so do many other horror movie fans. It's a good little scary movie and only really obtained a bad name because fans were annoyed it didn't feature michael myers. As a stand alone movie it wouldn't be hacked to death by critics and fans. Check it out - you might like it. And people can say what they like, but it has an original idea, and a ballsy plot line (an evil toymaker plotting to kill children on Halloween). :D

halloween dosen't suck it is worth watching as long as you don't have a hard for Michael Myers on like most fans of the series do, It's a very goood SCI-FI flick!! They are probably the same ones who think H20 was great but thought part 6 sucked!!

An evil toymaker plans to kill all the kids out for Halloween in this non-sequel to the other Halloween movies.

This movie might not have anything to do with Michael Myers but yes it is worth watching, The plot-line is awesome and I think you should rent-it and see it. The complicity is good but the disposition is even better.

I loved Halloween 3, but no its not Michael Myers orientated at all. Id say if you want to keep the momentum up go for 4, besides 4 is probably my favorite "fun" Halloween movie to watch (besides 6).

EDIT: actually, go with 4 right now and see 3 after the rest. Dont even think about it as a Halloween movie though and take it for what it is...I think you'll like it alot better that way.

anything after part 3 is really not at all worth watching, 4-8 are complete messes of shite acting, poor direction, hours of boringness and really not at all worth any time at all

I'm surprised there as much tolerance for Season of the Witch in this thread as there is. I think the film is pretty damn cool and Tom "The Man" Atkins plays a good role. The story is pretty decent too. There aren't too many times where you actually see a villain that is trying to wipe out children. Teens yes, but not children. I liked the cliffhanger ending and the surprise with Atkins love interest. Yeah, this movie gets bashed endlessly for whatever reasons but I give it a 7/10. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.
