ok...I know everyone thinks Empire Strikes Back is the best, but IMHO I think Return of the Jedi is the best! Which do you guys think is the best?

I'm going to have to say the original Star Wars was the best. When I first saw that at the show I was blown away with the effects. That battle cruiser was so huge it just kept going and going and going. You also got introduced to all the characters, some of which didn't get along with each other at first which made it interesting.

The guys who wrote the blurb on the back of the "The Empire Strikes Back" video cover sure knew what they were talking about. (it said it's one of the greatest motion pictures ever made)

My favorite is THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK (10/10), because it has the most character development. The romance between Han Solo and Princess Leia is fantastic! (second only to CASABLANCA (10/10))

Next is A NEW HOPE (10/10), then RETURN OF THE JEDI (9/10), then THE PHANTOM MENACE (9/10).

I don't like Star Wars, it's boring.

I don't like Return of the Jedi. The stormtroopers feared throughout galaxies get their asses handed to them by bunch of rejects from the teddy bear factory armed with sticks and stones. Fuck that!

But, I absolutely loved the Empire Strikes Back. The movies lots of fun and actually has a bit of a plot.

And in all fairness the whole Star Wars thing is just about eye candy special effects, but they just seem over rated to me.

Although I think Darth Vader was one of my heroes when I was like eight.
