What was wrong with that ski chase (apart from Bill Conti's awful music)?

I also don't get the adulation for the boat sequence in TWINE.

It's a gentle pleasure cruise compared to the speed boats roaring through the bayou in Live & Let Die.

Yeah thats the worst by far...it seems to go on forever and ever and it always seem to be bring me to the verge of tears of boredom...

Granted the Dukes Of Hazzard interlude with Sheriff Roscoe P. Coltrane is dull & un-necessary but the actual chase itself features several terrific stunts.

The only honest to goodness stunt in the TWINE chase occurs at the very end when Bond tumbles down the Millennium Dome.

Other than that it's all quick cuts & fancy editing.
