LOL thats cool that the audience just laughed about it and werent too pissed.
I remember when I was younger, I went and saw The Nutty Professor with my cousin in California. When one of the Klump's farted, the whole theater started to shake!
I thought to myself, WOW California theaters have kick ass effects.
But it turns out it was an earthquake. LOL

I've been in a movie theatre where it was storming outside and it started to leak through the ceiling. It was a fairly new movie theatre too. We got our money back and saw it later on. No biggie.

I was at a theatre seeing TITANIC, and it was storming bad outside, and when Jack and that girl were down in the ship and it was all flooded and starting to sink and the lights were going haywire, the roof of the theatre crashed in and rained was pooring in like a flood (because it was collecting on the roof). It was hilarious, but I was a little pissed. Oh, and some people got hurt kind of bad, so that sucked too.

True story:
I saw a screening of Bats... yeah, I know...
Anyway, when we left the theater (it was in a mall), guess what? There was this huge freaking bat flying around the skylights! In the mall! Some mall guys came in with nets, but they were about ten feet too short to do anything. I didn't stick around to find out what happened, just thought it was quite the coincidence.
