Which of the films do you like better?

For me, I prefer Before Sunrise. But I think they're both good movies.

Before Sunrise- 9.5/10
Before Sunset- 8/10

I think the sequel is better. I wonder if very many people have even seen the first one, let alone the second.

Now having seen both films, I still prefer the youthful idealism of Before Sunrise.

Before Sunset is possibly more romantic, but I also found it to be more sad and neurotic. The first film had a perfect quality to it, like you were trapped in one moment with these two characters and you wished to stay with them long after the sun came up.

I haven't seen the sequel yet, so I can't comment on it (though I think it will be good). I really liked Before Sunrise, I think it was very sweet, and nice performances by Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy.

I plan on renting the first one this weekend, and then seeing the next one either the same weekend or during the week. I’ll be sure to share my thoughts then. I’m very much looking forward to both, they both sound great.

Truthfully, I haven't seen either, but I've got Before Sunrise sitting here in front of me, but dammit! I can't watch it because it's on VHS so I can't watch it on the computer and my sister and her friend are sleeping in the movie room...damn it all to hell...

I thought Before Sunset could never top Before Sunrise but after seeing it I was so moved that it completely changed my mind. I give Before Sunrise 9/10 and Before Sunset 10/10. Ithink the sequel is more emotional and touching. Sure the first one is charming and captivating but it's less intense. There's a kind of urge in the second (in a way due to the fact that they have less time) that make everything more important. Anyway they're both great and really worthseeing.
