I had alreay seen someone selling his soul on an auction site, the text was hilarious, the guy described his few sins and so.

The dolls loke like pop music singers on acid.

Don't say that! All puppets are evil!* All. Of. Them. Beggining with Chucky, and ending with the two Good Guy dolls I have locked in my attic.

*Except the puppets from the Puppetmaster series

Well since my post I tried to find it, but didn't manage.
I guess it has disappeared from EBay database or something like that (I actually found a link which could be, but got an error message from EBay).

When I had looked, bids were still possible, can't remember the highest bid though.

one of the first items sold on ebay was someones soul, it was removed though because the bidder wouldnt receive a material object

This is hilarious. For some reason I'm suddenly reminded of an episode of "The Simpsons", where Milhouse purchases Bart's soul. :)

I remember a while back someone posted an ebay auction for a haunted painting of a weird looking kid and a doll. Apparently the kid and the doll would come out of the painting at night or something. They had photos of what was apparently the things inside the painting moving and they had edited the auction description to say a few people who were looking at the pictures on the site had said they felt sick or like someone was watching them.

That painting looked pretty freaky, I think i remember someone had it as their avatar on here.

I can never find this stuff on ebay, and I search for it alot, I don't know maybe I'm just an idiot. BUt anyway that first auction with the dolls sounds very similar to another haunted doll story I saw on e-bay. I don't know. Interesting stuff though. It kinda sounds to me though that all someone needs to do is take anything and say its haunted or possesed make up a good story and they make alot of money. Still cool stuff to read.

Alright, Ill try to find the winner too, so you can judge for yourselves. Keep in mind they had to REALLY short, shorter than I would have liked.

HANDS RESIST HIM

He couldn’t help but stare at it. He was simply amazed at this painting. The blank faces on both the little girl and the little boy, both of them looking so amazingly like him and his sister, who was standing right next to him, lost in the painting as well. The darkness behind the glass door, the hands reaching out to them past it, past the darkness, past the night. He had imagined it at night, he could hear the hands pounding against the glass, he could see the hands reaching out to him, but he still always knew, he will always know, that it is only a painting.
His sister was always the more frightened of the painting. Her experiences with it were far more destructive to her mind than anything that was given to her brother. Once, at night, she had heard the pounding of the hands against the glass, but they weren’t pounding the glass door, no, they were pounding on the frame of the painting, the transparent protective outer shell that sealed in the painting’s demons. When she got close they broke free and grabbed her. Their parents never believed them, and why should they, her story was ludicrous, but her brother knew, he saw the tear in her clothes from where it had grabbed her, the claw marks on her chest. And he knew never to tell anyone, because if they believed they might set it free.
His experience was not as physically damaging; the painting called to him. It begged with him, pleaded, to break the glass and let them in to the world that they saw through the glass, it was a world that they wanted to be a part of, forever. They called to him, their squeaky children’s voices rattled inside his ears, the innocence of the children speaking of impossible malevolence. But they didn’t just call to him, they talked with him. They told him about his mother, how they loved her curly blonde hair, and her generous nature, her beautiful smile. And about his father, his real father and the tragedy concerning his loss. They knew of the suddenness of his heart condition, they quickness of his death. And they spoke of feelings that they had as if it were him that were speaking them, they knew every detail, as though the glass frame actually were a window, a window peering out to them, peering out into their lives, watching them. All he could do was run.
Yes, the painting scared him, him and his sister both. At night, when the darkness was at its blackest, the shadows poured in through the glass door across the hall from the painting. Those shadows bounced onto the painting, they danced on the canvas, making it appear as though the painting was actually moving, the hands were actually pounding against the glass door, the children stood blinking, they made it look like the painting was actually alive.
But, then again…maybe it was.
Stranger things started to happen when the painting got mad. At first they were small, cups flew across tables, doors opening in strange ways, odd power outages. After that the painting was moved into the attic, and placed beneath a dark sheet, to be locked away forever. That’s when it got angry. The only thing that it had it its existence was its window, the only thing in the entire universe it had was what it watched, was who it watched, and now that too was gone. Just think about everything you have, everything you own, everyone you have ever loved or known or seen or heard, and take it all away. What you’re left with is a void, a blank empty life with nothing but your mind. It’s the equivalent of being locked away into an iron cell with a mask over your eyes for all of eternity, not the rest of your life, since it was a painting, for all eternity. It was mad all right, it was pissed.
After that no one was safe, the children, the parents, the neighbors, all of them were under its never blinking eye. Windows started to break, handprints that didn’t match a single person in this world plastered all over the broken shards, darkness fell onto the whole town as the power constantly went out all over, earthquakes isolated homes and tried to destroy them, their own house being hit five times in a single year, the Richter scale not picking up any activity whatsoever outside the line of their premises. After each quake they went up to the attic to check on the painting, and each time it had fallen farther and farther down the stairs. The painting was trying to free itself. After both of their next-door neighbor’s homes caught on fire they decided that the painting be put back where it was, its eyes were opened once again.
Now the staring again. All that they could was stare at it, it was just a painting, a painting that they were deathly afraid of, but a painting nonetheless, it did nothing, it just watched, as did they.
After a while the painting began to mature with the children, it seemed as though the children in it were growing up, and that the hands were increasing in number.
That’s when the boy made the most frightening discovery of all; he, his sister, they weren’t ever looking at any painting, they were looking into a mirror, a mirror for souls.
The realization set its spirit free.
The hands began to move, to come alive. They pounded on the glass doorway just behind the two children, it shattered into a myriad of pieces.
That’s when the boy felt the cold icy fingers crawling up his shoulder.

THE END

And the winner.

I watched this mans face... the way his eyes danced around me... as he left, came back, and gave me hands and legs. He sat in front of me, his cold strokes shaping my cheeks, my skin, the ground I stood on. I felt as if I knew this man, as his eyes watched mine. Over the course of about a month, as he appeared and disappeared, and I began to feel little pushes on my back... cold and subtle as a whisper. I felt a companion appear beside me, but her eyeless sockets only stared past me... through me. Her joints weren't like mine, and it soon came to my attention that she wasn't real. The feeling I got from her was only cold, studying me just the same as my creator studied us. Her studying wasn't done with the eye, though, her mind blindly drilled through mine. She felt like she helped the pushes, which I soon caught glimpses of. They were the dead hands of more of her kind. Empty, unlike me. Time passed. My flesh felt warm, my back, cold. I soon had the sensation that I was being forced. Not forced to do anything I can pinpoint, but forced by the hands that urged me on. I don't know, or didn't know then, what they wanted, whether it was keeping me out or wanting me in. I also sensed that I should be where they are. As I felt my world finally complete, it was shaded by a great drape, a drape that left me alone with the hands and the cold girl. I didn't like them, but I put up a mask that deemed me as cold as they were. I shut them off from me, concentrating on ignoring the pushes. Occasionally, the shade would lift and someone would look at me, along with my creator. They would talk, but I could not listen. Sometimes the people would approach, only to back away shaking their head and criticizing my creator. Visiting, leaving, watching; They gave me hope then extinguished it, twisting my newly grown hope to have the shade removed indefinitely. My soul was frail, soon feeling the need to break as the pushes willed me. These hands, separate from me, attached to the girl's soul, wanted out, as I now could feel, or rather, wanted to be shown the way out. They didn't want to go themselves. They wanted me to.

As cold breath began to fill my lungs, and fragments of broken conversations presented themselves through the cloth, I felt not so hostile toward the shoves. Maybe if I escaped, the curtain, my confinement, would not blind me. When the world dimmed, beyond the cloth, I noticed that silence instilled, and the shoves became stronger. I only closed my eyes and shut them off. Maybe if I pleased Him, I reasoned, He would take the cloth away. He did. I saw my Creator's face once again, only to be shattered into reality as I was taken from him. The hands didn't like it, as I didn't, and they hit me. I was devastated... crushed by this sudden action. My mind crowded with angry thoughts, and the girl urged me, telling me that we would have to fix it. I glared ahead, my eyes hot with hatred for this new world as I tried desperately to imagine what I could have done to Him to make him hurt me so.
My new home was bad. It was not where my creator was. A new man, a man in a suit, watched as I was placed in a new spot, a spot so cold and clean that it fed my hatred. He spoke with someone else, someone that I didn't care to pay attention to. I didn't want to be here. Put the shade back on me! PUT IT ON! ...He wouldn't listen. He just watched me with his hand on his chin. Oh how I loathed this man... The hands had changed... they pulled now. They pulled and pushed at the same time. A sick tension arose deep within me, and the girl's stronger will excited the hands. People came to see me all day. People watched as I glared at them, attempting to pierce into their conscious like I felt the girl do to me. COVER ME! Why wont they SHIELD themselves from me?! They had the power, the power to walk away when they saw something that was strange to them. I craved this power like I craved my home. The night came again, as I figured it was, and this place was bare of people. If they wouldn't let me be a part of them, I'd bring them in to me. To Us.
I felt the suited man approach, and let the hands shove. I tumbled out, onto the floor, the girl clattering to the ground beside me. I wanted to feel these strange sensations, these bizarre feelings that came from hitting the floor and hearing full sounds, but I couldn't, for I knew what I must do. The man's screaming was insistent, he was on the floor too, and he gasped and stared in disbelief as I took his arms from behind and held him with my knee to his back. The girl rose stiffly, as if she had strings attached to her, and gained balance. She stared at the screaming man and the air between them warped and twisted, he, dissipating in my hands and she, absorbing every bit of his soul. I lifted her light body and set it carefully inside the painting before jumping into it myself. My heart raced... I wanted more. I felt that the hands were satisfied, and so was the girl. Next would be the reporter that stared at me mercilessly, and then, if anyone else dared to get in the way of my creator, they too would be taken. They mustn't have noticed the new pair of hands behind me...

Dang, man those were some cool stories. I think yours was better, but Ilike the way the other one was done. You know, from the painting's point of view, that was cool. Personally I would not want a copy of this painting in my house. After looking at it I couldn't sleep last night. Damn, that was just creepy especially the story behind it.

But that possessed Coke can was just bullshit, what was that guy thinking? Some of the pictures with the ghost in a jar were pretty creepy too.

I'd like to restate that it sold to the tune of 200 bucks! Even if the guy's not a con-man and actually believed the coke can was possessed, there's at least one person who's stupider! I wish I'd thought of it. . .
