Anyone think this is Brosnan's best outing as (a thinly disguised) 007?

He seems free in the role & not straight jacketed by the ridiculous Connery mannerisms he always adopts in the official Bond productions.

i think his best role from a non bond film was Thomas Crown Affair

Pierce was absolutely PERFECT in this movie. Osnard is a quirky one, that's for sure.

The film itself isn't brilliant (Jamie Lee Curtis is badly miscast) but Brosnan plays the spy Andrew Osnard as he should play Bond.

Suave, charming, devious & utterly ruthless.
