It's not one of Hammers best known movies but it certainly is one of their finest horror films .
Hands Of THe Ripper masterly mixes the Ripper myth with Freud and manages to throw in some truly excellent gallio style murders .
If you have'nt seen it yet , check it out . You won't be dissapointed .

It's available on region 2 dvd . You can get it at HMV at the moment as part of a boxset with The Monster & The Uncanny at the tremendous sale price of £11.00 .
The Monster ( with Joan Collins ) is dreadful but The Uncanny is good fun . Hands Of The Ripper is worth the price alone though .

I saw this about a two years ago now, one of the first hammer films that I had seen. I rember it being pretty good, but then I seem to like nearly all jack the ripper inspired movies :D but some of the deaths where very memorable in this one
