Bourne - 19.1M
Robot - 6.95M
Catwoman - 6.3M
These are from a reliable source at HSX.
Bourne Supremacy's number is amazing. Should have a $50 million opening at least and could reach $150 million.
I, Robot had a pretty bad hold.
Catwoman did as I expected on Friday, now, all it needs to do is drop 30% on Saturday...bwhahhahahha!

No 30% Saturday drop for Catwoman. Looks like its final box office will be a little more than $20 million. I can't believe anyone thought it would do that bad. Sure, it's a dud. Cost about $140 million to produce and market. But it's no Pluto Nash.

Sweet. Now we can look forward to no Catwoman sequels where the costumes get progressively more ugly

My prediction wasn't meant to be realistic, it was meant to be over-the-top (I'm sticking to the 85% drop for kicks). But I must say I am a bit surprised by the Saturday increase.

What moron executive ok'd a 140 million price tag for catwoman to be filmed and supported? Anyone and I mean everyone knew it was gonna suck well before it even got started filming. I feel bad for Halle , she should have stuck with just being storm or nude in her next few movies instead of this crap.

Don't feel bad for Berry. She was well compensated for the movie, and she should read the fucking scripts they send her. I don't feel sorry for her at all.

Who said it cost 140 million?! The production budget was 85-90 million, I doubt that the WB spent 50-55 million on advertisement. With rentals, overseas business, etc... this movie should end up breaking even.... not that I'm happy about that though.

Don't most films break even eventually no matter how bad they tank at the box office?

Most end up at least breaking even once all revenue is taken into account. But, some don't if they have awful word of mouth. And some just plain fail to connect with audiences.

I'm happy for the continued success of Anchorman, I, Robot and Fahrenheit 9/11.

Sorry, but according to boxofficemojo, it cost $100 million to make and $40 million to market. I believe that does add up to $140 million if I'm not mistaken.

You aren't mistaken, those two numbers do add up to $140 million. Unfortunately they are the wrong numbers....
This from Superhero Hype:
Halle Berry's Catwoman got a disappointing third place, pulling in $17.2 million from 3,117 theaters. The comic book adaptation was budgeted in the high $80 million range. Warner Bros. had hoped for an opening over $20 million.

Wait, how can you say that boxofficemojo's numbers are wrong, and the other numbers are right? What makes one source wrong and one source right? And I don't care what the studio says, they fudge numbers all the time.

Boxofficemojo is usually pretty accurate in that department. I'd trust their $100 budget estimate (plus marketing costs), and I've heard that figure elsewhere too.
Thank God for us all, the movie is going to bomb.
