Hey, does anyone remmeber the late nights on USA in the 90's called Up All Night? They usually showed horror flicks on there. I remember that they showed Halloween 1 and 2, NOES 2, 3 and 5, and Fridays 7 and 8. Anyone else have any memories. Anything to share about you're feiling towards it?
I remember sitting up late at night to watch scary movies. I was around 5 and 6 and I wasn't allowed to watch R rated movies yet, so T.V. was my only way. I would stay up till 2 in the morning sometimes.
I remember it very well, it had Rhonda Shear as the host on Friday nights and Gilbert Godfried as host on Saturaday nights. It was a good way to get my horror fix when I was younger.

I remember it too. That's where I first saw all those B-movies like Hell Comes to Frogtown, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, and The Pink Chiquitas. Those were the good old days.

Yep yep yep! The only F13ths that I remembered was parts 7 and 8. What others did they show?
Rhonda Shear used to scare me. She ate octopus in one episode and I though that was sick.

What are you kidding??? Do I remeber USA Up All Night? Of course!! I miss those days of watching along with hosts like, Gilbert Godfried and Rhonda Shear. Not to metion some great saturday night memories of viewing Return of the Living Dead, Chopping Mall and Friday the 13th movies!!! Who cares if the were edited for TV, it was fun to just sit up, munching out on terrific junk food and pizzas...the good ole' days!

What the hell happened with that??? God, I miss that!
And aside from that , what happened to the neat music video/ movie preview show they had almost a decade before that called Night Flight??? THAT was awesome. They showed the greatest music videos, concerts, and behind the scenes previews of lots of horror movies. That was how I found out about Terrorvision.
Both of these were ahead of their time. Too bad shit like MTV has outlasted it.

Skweemkween, you are so correct...today late night tv is filled with shit! Night Flight, wow! Didnt think anybody remembered that show. It was a very cool time, saturday nights always had a promise of something new. Never missed any of these wonderful late night shows, for the record, I still have a few segments from Night Flight on video. Did anyone ever see the short parody called the "Dawn of the Night of the Dead"?? It was freaking hilarious, I still have it!!! What I remember most, was the very cool mix of Rock videos and Horror Orintated stuff...to bad they just dont make shows like these anymore!!! I Remember seeing Billy Idols "White Wedding and Dancing With Myself" on Night Flight! Today the late night boob tube, is filled with needless info-mercials and lame assed MTV orintated garbage which make me wanna' ralf. Thank god for DVD and Video, our only escape from this drek! You can plan out a saturday night line up of your own, I still celebrate my saturday nights with Horror Movies and keeping with the spirit of the Drive-In era. I intercut previews, trailers and intermissions, while viewing my favorite horror films! Oh, and dont forget the Pizza, hotdogs, burgers, fries and soda. Fun times all the way...Now, on with the show!!!

I watched Night Flight all the time! I remember watching DynaMan in which The Power Rangers are a direct fucking rip off of that show!!!! I loved Up All Night, I remember seeing Rock N Roll Nightmare on that show on prom night (Nah, I didnt go, fuck it) Gilbert's comments on that one had me rolling on the floor! Friday and Saturday Night Television was the best. Even Saturday Afternoon tv was cool! I can never remember his name but do you remember that one Guy on Saturday Afternoons he wore like a super hero outfit and he had a mustache and smoked a cigar??? I loved his Saturday afternoon show! That is where I first saw Squirm and Touch Of Satan!

OH MY GOD Commander USA! Holy crap I forgot about that! I did not get to see the Dawn of the Dead parody! I did see a lot of great stuff. So happy to see other schmoes remember it. I do have from Night Flight videos from Kate Bush and Robert Palmer. they did a whole hour segment on these two performers and played Kate Bush's one and only concert back in '80.
My fondest memories are of those plus the footage from Nightmare on Elm St. pt 2, Terrorvision, Barnes & Barnes extended version of Fishheads with Bill Paxton, and all of the awesome new wave videos they showed.
I do have on tape from USA Up all night footage from their Vice Academy ( that thing with Linnea Quigley and Ginger Allen) marathon. They interviewed the two actresses as well as showed Nightmare Sisters.
Hopefully the Horror channel in Canada will return some of that much missed nostalgia with their talk shows.

Yeah, it was great! I used to think Rhonda was hot! Then again I was young and anything with boobs made my pants happy. Some great movies. I loved to watch just to laugh at how they had to edit them for tv.

Yeah! I remember Up All Night! I watched it almost every weekend when I was younger, especially when a Friday marathon was on. Sometimes, Gilbert really cracked me up with all his smart-ass comments! Ahh, good times... :) Hey, does anybody know why it got cancelled or when? Yo, USA! Bring it back!

I watched USA Up all Night every chance I had. Couldn't stand Gilbert, but I watched anyway for the shows. Saw many B class flicks that cum (pun intended) close to porn. Loved watching this show. I can't believe so many others actually watched it. Vice Academy, my god. I forgot about that........

Anyone know what the hell happened to her? I mean surely she would go over well at fan Conventions? Ya would think. I mean, there are a LOT of horny guys out there that probably still remember her.
Well, her IMDB bio shows she's been a few movies (mostly B movies, how appropriate), and she's done a few TV guest appearences.

There is nothing more comical then to watch any film being edited for TV, especially when they would substitute an obscenity for some really off key word and try to make it fit...that is a HOWL!
Example: in the film Weird Science, Kelly Le Broc's dialouge in the scene where she is talking to Garys parents-
Lisa: Were not talking witchcraft or candle wax on the nipples... is replaced by: Witchcraft or candle wax on the PIMPLES...

Piranha is a great film, Bradford Dillman was a great character actor and really gave this film credibility. Piranha is without a shadow of a doubt, one of my ALL time favorites that is great to watch on a saturday night...which I have done on numerous occasions. The remake was awful and even used footage from the original film, talk about cheesy!!! Very forgettable and will never even come close to the one true Piranha!
Get it on DVD!!!! :D it's Excellent!!!!!
