I was wondering if the Tales from the Crypt series will ever be put on dvd ? I think that would be cool and chances are ot will be worth the purchase. What type of special features do you guys hope it would have?

I'm sure that it will eventually happen. HBO is really overpriced though. Take a look at 2 of their Sex and the City DVD's. There like $40 and that's at Best Buy.

I really hope it happens! If HBO is smart, they will release it. Tales was my favorite show, and the only DVD it has is the Robert Zemeckis Collection, which I have + all the VHS's.

Been hoping and praying for a complete DVD release for a while, but so far, no news has surfaced. I e-mailed HBO and asked them personally, but they rudely ignored my query.

Same here. I e mailed them like 3 times and they ignored me each time.

Damn, that sucks. Well, maybe if we keep e-mailing, they'll get the hint and finally release the goddamn thing.

We can only hope. If they finally do decide to release it, I hope it's not some cheaply produced thing with only 3 episodes like the VHS tapes. I want complete seasons! They put out DVD set for the Larry Sanders Show, why not Tales? It was a hit for HBO.

You're so right. I'm also hoping and praying for the complete seasons, but if it doesn't happen, there's always bootleg DVDs on eBay. I've seen quite a few people selling every episode on 22 discs. Might be something to consider.
