I'm back after a looong time away. Work has been very busy and now I'm working on five certifications.
Anyway, I'm sitting here watch [/]Near Dark[/i]. Too bad it's not dark. Which brings me to this. Do any of you enjoy watching films in the dark, or just enjoy the dark better? Also, what films has the creepiest "near dark" scares?
Sorry if it's been talked about before.

I have a black tablecloth over my bedroom window, if that answers your question. I fucking hate daylight. I can only watch a movie in the dark.

I think you get so much more from a movie when you watch it in the dark. Plus, the noises around the house seem twice as loud and scary. It enhances the entire moviegoing experience!

I like watching movies in the dark too, but....theres just something off about my room. So if the lights are off it bothers my eyes and doesnt even make everything "black". Even if night outside. I hung up some cheap candelabras to at least have some candles, may make a difference. It's not how dark (or not dark it is) that bugs me, there's just something off about the room when the lights are out.

I prefer watching movies in the dark, even if they're not horror movies. Hell, I prefer doing anything in the dark, I keep my blinds/curtains shut all year long. People call me a rat for that, or a vampire, or a bat, or anything. But I can't help it, daylight, baaad.

I prefer to watch all my films in the dark. It's not supposed to be good for your eyes, but who gives a fuck?

Waching a film at night is the only way to go. It definitely adds to the atmosphere and kind of places you within a "theater" environment.

Without the morons talking through the movie and diving into their popcorn, fortunately :)

the dark defo!!....

i hate daylight also...my window is like on the slanted part of the roof...so its at a 45 degree angle on my ceiling so loads of light gets in...so i've put a dark dark dark green towel up to cover the window...works for me

...except my room is as warm as hell in the summer so i have two large fans in my room that are on 24/7 to keep the room cool lol

...but yeah flicks in the dark...always better!
