short but sweet:
Saw Bourne Supremecy tonight (bad ass flick) and this is something i have noticed.. but when i see movies alot of times the movie will not be over.. it will be like 2 minutes tl its over but NOT OVER... and people get up and start leaving... which annoys me because they walk right in front of me when im trying ot catch the ending... and sometimes you get assholes who like.. lets say they think the movie is over, they get up and walk out.. but as they are walking out someone starts talking on the screen, so they STOP RIGHT IN FUCKING FRONT OF ME and watch... but i never stand for that shit, i tell them to get the fuck out of the way.
I just wish people would wait til the movie is fuckin OVER... i understand they want to miss the traffic but cmon... dont be assholes!

Usually if I am by myself I sometimes like to stay behind and maybe watch out for a credit or song heard that I wanna clarify versus if I am w/ my roomate he's ready to go...

I don't think there is anything wrong with getting up and leaving a movie.
Hell that's what I recommend anyone do who doesn't like the movie they are watching for whatever reason.
It would sure beat the hell out of them screaming "This movie sucks @SS!" every 10 seconds or shouting "Matt Damon sucks Ben's Dick for Jlo aftertaste", etc.
Hell, them getting up and leaving is SO much better than the alternative of them sitting there RUINING the experience for others.
If the addage "If you don't like what's on TV, change the channel or turn it off" is true.
Then how does that translate into the Movie Theater?
You get up and leave.
I have no problem with people leaving a movie. Maybe one of them is sick and needs to puke. Maybe they have an emergency they need to get to. Maybe they need to talk on their cell phone.
I would rather they do all of those things OUTSIDE of the auditorium that IN it.

What your saying is true they should leave but they should at leats keep going and not stop in front of the screen.

I have the same problem annoying me everytime I watch a movie in theater. I'd like to see the credits, but whenever a credits scene begins the light in the theater is turned on and people get up.

I hear thee. I think they do it to beat the rush. Like those extra seconds you save are so damn important.
My friend just got up and left with only like...Ten minutes left to go in Anchorman. There also wasn't many people there either, so I dunno.....I suspect he's slightly retarded....But how do I prove it?...Damnit, I can't.

ive never had this happen in a cinema but my fucking stupid little brother always does this at home, its another reason i dont watch films with him any more, when it looks like the film has finished he walks out of the fucking room...i find it very funny when its not the end and something happens at the end that changes the whole thing

I believe there should be a rule that the only people who are allowed to leave before the movie is over are elderly people, so they don't slow me down and couples who are going to screw after the movie.
They can't be made to wait any longer to get thier fill, any horny person will sympathize with me on this. But only these two groups only and no stopping to in the middle of the aisles either or else that's a paddlin.

Ok, another way to fix it.
Sit in the front row.
No one is forcing you to sit behind other people (unless the theater is completely crowded and by some miracle the first row is full).
So if you sit in the first row, then you don't have to worry about it usually.
