just some shit that bothers me:
but its people that maybe they put their phones on vibrate, but when the phone starts vibrating they pick it up and start to hold a conversation w/ whoever called. All the while i have to hear "Oh Ya, tell shantee that my baby daddy mommy sista in law said UHHH HUH" instead of whats going on in the movie.
I mean... you can wait 2 hours to talk to your buddy, or parole officer as some may cases may be.

Century is playing this ad which I thought was a TRAILER or something....
2 guys who look like they are from Last of The Mohicans look or something and they are watching herd of buffalo
THEN
*backround sound of a cell phone ringing*
The herd of cattle makes a run for.....
The 2 guys looking at the cam is shushing someone :D
Now to the topic on hand....whoever allows their cell phone to ring and worst of all answers needs to be hunted down and have their phone smashed in half by me..... ;)

I have done this before....
BUT....
before you go and light your angry mob torches and get out the pitchforks and hunt me down, let me explain.
there were 9 poeple in the theater.
i knew 7 of them. there was my gorup of 4 in the very back row. the 2 people i didnt know more than half way past the middle, and then three others i knew further down from them.
i answered my call, i spoke quietly, and im 99% sure there wasnt a chacne they could hear me.
....
im banned arent i? :(

For you I think we can make an exception. Out of humble generosity, just castration.

I take my phone into the theater, but I set it to vibrate.
I never got a call during a movie, but I have it in case the sitter needs to get in touch with me.
If I did get a call. I would press the answer button and walk out of the theater to talk.

haha that's weird cause obviously you're probably kidding but my PO actually called me because I had a curfew and she had to check on me and this was the only time I answered the phone in the theater.

Not too long ago someone had the nerve to actually answer the phone next to me. First thing I heard: Im sorry, you have the wrong number." WTF!?
You shouldnt be answering it anyway, but when you dont even know the number?????

This isn't movie related, but pisses me off all the same.
There was a kid in my summer history class that would answer his phone and talk to his girlfriend for a minute or two.... IN CLASS.
....DURING THE LECTURE.
The instructor was standing no more than five feet away from him half the time, but never called him on it. It really pickled my pears.

Yeah. I totally hate that. It's fuckin' disrespectful to the audience when you do this kinda shit.
The worst was when I went to see a movie with a really good friend one day.
His phone rang. I was like, "He musta forgot. That sucks. Oh well. He'll turn it off."
The phone kept ringing, and he pulls it out of his pocket and there's this huge green light flickering on his phone. He then presses a button and says, "Hello?"
I was like, "What the fuck are you doing man? Holy shit, I can't believe you answered the phone. What the fuck? I'm watching this movie. Shit. Get out of here, man."
He walked out.
I told him after the movie how deserving that was of a beat-down. He apologized.
A few weeks later... his phone rings AGAIN in the fuckin' theater! Holy shit! This time he answered as he was leaving the theater but I thought "What is so damned important that he needs to interrupt a movie? At the same time, why can't he put his fuckin' phone on vibrate."
A lot of f-bombs, but it's because this kind of behavior - especially from a close friend - really pisses me off!

That shit bothers me as well. I mean come on you came to the movies so you could see the movie that you are sitting in. I mean if you are just gonna sit through the moovie talking to God knows who then you could have stayed at home instead of coming to the theater. Seriously I dont think anybody wants to hear someones loud ass mouth while they are trying to watch a movie.

I find this to be extremely irritating. but one time...
i always set my phone to vibrate. i guess i forgot because it went off one night in the middle of a movie (a crowded movie) and was ringing the Mexican Hat Dance and I was digging crazily thru my bag trying to shut it off. I was horribly ashamed of myself.
Now I leave it in the car. ;)
