Okay guys, I'm looking for some new material. Last night while I was driving through the desert (I'm in Vegas this summer - with my parents! Wooo!) I got an idea for a new screenplay that would be western/horror. So I started to ponder if this had ever been accomplished, and done well at the same time.

I've heard of Billy the Kid vs. Dracula and Jesse James Meets Frankenstein's Daughter, but I also heard they smoked monkey poll. Watching Demon Knight last night, that kinda pulled off a little bit of a western vibe, but not much.

So, fellow horror Schmoes, what are some GOOD western/horror flicks?

Holy hell, people replied.

Legend of the Phantom Rider sounds more like what I'm looking for. Thanks count.

Westworld (ok its very much Sci-Fi but worth a look)

Sundown:The Vampire in Retreat (Vampire flick with David Carradine and Bruce Campbell)

Dust Devil (under-rated movie from the director of Hardware)
