Okay. Everyone has them. "This movie is so good, but no one has seen it."

You think you're the ultimate movie guy. You think your shit don't stink. And you think you've seen all the totally awesome movies that no one else is hip/smart/cool/knowledgable enough to have seen. (But of course people have seen them) What are they?

My list

1. Equilibrium
2. Dog Soldiers
3. Rock n Rule
4. Below
5. The Glacier Fox (for nostalgic reasons)
6. Loose Shoes (I'm almost certain no one hear has seen this tremendously bad, but so hilarious at times comedy)

I thought I had some, but I'm completely unoriginal. :(

Dog Soldiers was a big hit in the UK so lots of people have seen that movie this side of the pond.

Also Equilibrium looked like being another shitty Matrix clone & who needed another one of those after Reloaded & Revolutions.

equilibrium was incredible, so dont go dissing on it. it had a very powerful story, and some PIMPIN action scenes. a matrix clone it was not. also, im almost positive it came out b4 reloaded or revolutions

I never said it was crap (I haven't seen it) just that it looked crap which might explain why the movie bombed.

It's not that hard guys, come on.

I never said no one has ever seen Equilibrium/Dog Soldiers. I know they have followings, but I never hear anyone talk about them outside of those followings.

All everyone ever talks about are the same five movies. LOTR, Kill Bill, Fight Club, Donnie Darko... etc. It gets so predictable after awhile. Look at everyone's favorite movie listed under their names. You see the same movies over and over. There's gotta be more out there.

I think there is a reason why the same movies keep coming up. Great movies tend to be recognized and loved. I think there is enough variation within the favorites to keep it interesting.

I think Badbird does have a point with Donnie Darko.

That film does tend to get quoted by people trying desperately hard to be trendy.

That and the fact that the geniuses at Dimension Films had zero faith in this flick so they released it to about five theaters for about a week.

EQUILIBRIUM is awesome. One of the best action sci-fi's of the past few years, in my opinion.
