Okay, so there I was, watching Spider-Man 2 and actually enjoying it when this one little kid behind me starts screaming at his mom to go buy him candy.

At first, I didn't mind, but when the little kid realized that his mom wasn't paying any attention to him whatsoever, he starts screaming at the top of his lungs in the middle of the goddamn movie. I ended up leaving the movie and demanding a refund.

Fucking little kid.

Has this ever happened to you??

Kinda makes me wonder when I see bratty kids thats just have no manners. Makes me wonder, DID I ACT LIKE THAT?!?!?
I don't think the annoying little shits should be blamed. The finger pointing should aimed directly at the parents. Kids can't help themselves. Theyre being KIDS. I just stare directly at whoever the kids are with. :D

Babies and toddlers don't belong in a theater. I don't bring my youngster to the movies. I don't get to go much, but that's my tough luck. I'm not going to ruin a movie for others or myself. I would be pissed if somebody disturbed my Spiderman 2 viewing experience. I don't see how you can enjoy a movie if your child doesn't want to be there anyway.

If they are older and act up. They need to be taken out of the theater. It might help them learn how to act in places like that.

If you go and see a Disney flick you should expect kids to be there.

What really can't stand is when idiot parents bring a little kid to an "R" rated horror movie.
I saw the TCM remake last Halloween at 10:30 at night, and the people behind me had 7 or 8 year old girl with them. Dumbasses!

I estimated the little kid to be about 6 or 7 years old.

Leave the kid alone. Don't kill his parents, but I suggest sterilizing them horribly and painfully and whip them in the backside with a white-hot, metal rod until they promise never to bring their hellspawn to the theater ever again until he is out of screaming for things.

Spongebod, The same thing happened to me at TCM. This fat bitch had to have at least five little kids, like the oldest was 5 at the least. FUCKING STUPID WHORE!!!!! Im wasnt as pissed that the two babies she had in each fat ass arm screamed every now and then or that the the five year old was just running around the whole theatre, just as happy as can be. It was the fact that ashe was stupid enough the subject her children to that kind of violence. I mean how fucking stupid. The other two were around 3 and 4 were being good. But they were glued to the screen. Wide eyed at the gore and blood. I thing they are gonna be some fucked up little shits when they get older.

Parents shouldn't be allowed to bring their young kids into the movie if it's rated R. Hell, even these PG-13 movies should be rated R now. Either get a sitter, or stay your butts home.

But really irritates me is those moms who bring their babies to the theater, and then proceed to change them during the movie instead of using the changing tables in the bathroom! If you don't want to miss the movie, then why did you bring your baby???

Me too at Spiderman 2, some little black kid that was behind me that was at the most 3 years old, and he kept on asking "Mommy, what is Spiderman doing" or "Mommy is that Spiderman" But I was with my great aunt who doesn't believe in telling people to be quiet which caused her to start her bitching when I told the kid to knock it off and be quiet. I was getting ready to say "Shut the fuck up asshole!" Little kids piss me off. And their goddamn commercials. Those little fuckers.

They should have panic buttons on every aisle for that kind of shit, just as if you were in the hospital.

That kid from the beginning of the thread is the kind of kid that makes me want to have tests at birth to determine wether kids will turn out to be rude little shits, and kill the ones who fail. It takes the most self-restraint I can give myself to keep myself from slapping kids like these. They think that they can get anything they fucking want just by making their voices louder. If I had kids who tried to pull that, I'd lock them in a soundproof closet until they screamed their voice away and turned into a mute. I've never run into such a child performing such acts in a movie theater, but if I would I would probably leave and ask for a refund.

I agree with this rant. It still blows my mind that at Freddy Versus Jason there were at LEAST five kids under the age of five, a few babies, and a couple more under 10. This was the worst I'd seen for so many young kids at such a violent film. Makes you wonder.

<darchangel prepares self for a long story>

okay...i work at a movie theater, and last weekend i was working concession stand during a showing of Yu-Gi-Oh. a mom with about three or four boys comes in and starts buying candy and popcorn while the kids start opening the Yu-Gi-Oh cards you get when you buy a ticket to the movie.

one of them starts freaking out because he got the same card he got last time he went to the movie. i mean seriously freaking out; screaming, crying, telling his mother he hates her because she won't buy him a new one. he throws it on the ground, stomps on it and runs up the box office. it was to the point where all of my fellow concessionists and i were no longer helping customers, but merely watching the spectacle (most of the customers were, too).

he goes up the box office and asks the box worker if he can trade his card. she tells him she can't do that once it's been opened, and he screams, "GOD, THIS SUCKS!!!", slaps and kicks the box office and the theater wall, and runs out into the mall by himself.

the mother, instead of going after the little brat and blistering his ass for creating such a scene, goes into the movie with the other kids and LEAVES an 8-year-old in the mall by himself for a good twenty minutes. she then goes out, retrieves him and buys him a new ticket so he can get a new Yu-Gi-Oh card, takes him into the movie, then leaves a group of kids (none of which could be older than ten) in the theater alone while she goes shopping.

i know it's not really the same thing as a baby crying in the movie theater, but it's absolutely deplorable. i thought that woman should have gotten the official title of Worst Parent Ever.

just wanted to pass on the joys of theater life.

For all of you who can't stand kids in R-rated movies:

if there's an AMC theaters by you, go after 6:00. Children under 6 are not allowed to go into R rated movies after 6:00 at AMCs.

There's a theater in Toronto (or was anyway) that ONLY allows 18+ in for every show. Finding Nemo... anything. That rocked.

Oh... I've been there. I smacked a kid in the back of the head one time. He was pissing me off... so I smacked him. He turned around, and went back to sit with mommy... little shit.

Oh man Darkangel I feel bad for you. That post pissed me off just reading it.

Those are the two things I cant stand the most. Horrible little satan children and the fucking stupid parents that let them get away with murder. I CANT STAND that shit!

That reminds me this time I was at Target (My personal Wal-Mart) getting the really cool Predator dvd. I got and walked around a bite. Since i still ove the toys section I go and look at the new line a ninja turtles. (Dont laugh) and this kid about the age of 7 pics one up a holds it to his moms face. She says no becasue he just got a new one a couple days ago. Well he porceded to through the toy across the aisle and threw himself on the floor kicking and screaming. Demanding a new toy. The mother looked really embarrested. She just watched him though. Dumb ass bitch. I walked away because I couldnt take it. About 20 minutes later I see the two in line buying that damn toy and the kid had a shit eating grin on his face.

Fucking little brat!

As long as little kids dont kick me in my shins, like a special few have in the past, I really dont care about them.

I have to disagree with acouple of comments here, that kids taken to horror films and exposed to that kind of violence might get fucked up.

I watched the Freddy films, the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Fulci's Zombie when I was 3 or 4, and have been watching films since, and I'm a perfectly "normal" human being.

And if you disagree I'll rip your fucking skull open. :D
