The nominations will be announced December 20 (I'm looking forward to it), and the awards ceremony will be on January 20th.

Anyone think Ocean's Eleven will be nominated for Best Picture (Musical or Comedy)? I think it will because last year they nominated O'Brother Where Art Thou, I also think George Cloony will pick up a nod for best actor in a comedy. What do you guys think?

Yes, I think it will be nominated for Best Picture - Musical or Comedy. I hope it wins, but I wouldn't be surprised if Moulin Rogue! got it instead.
I'll bet George Clooney is nominated for Best Actor - Musical or Comedy, too. Again, though, Ewan McGregor of Moulin Rogue! might win it.

That Fucking Moulin Rouge is ruining everything it needs to go away http://www.joblo.com/ubb/wink.gif http://www.joblo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif... No, i'm only kidding, I think your right though, the only thing standing in O's 11's way is Moulin Rouge, and although its a good movie, I think it's a shame that it will more then likely beat out the best movie of the year.
