Damn, I'm sorry you didn't catch it. I think TCM is going to air all the THIN MAN movies soon.

The flick was filled with great lines, and that was one I loved. I also thought this exchange was great:

"I'm a hero. I was shot two times in the Tribune."
"I read where you were shot five times in the tabloids."
"It's not true. He didn't come anywhere near my tabloids."

Well, I've seen a little of it. It was on TV one night last summer, but I missed the beginning so I watched a bit (looked interesting), but then thought I'd catch the re-run the next day and then of course totally forgot. So I suppose now I'll just have to buy it.

:D
Yes, that's another great one. But there are so many:

Reporter: Can you tell me something about the case?
Nick: Yes, it's getting me behind in my drinking.

Reporter: Is he working on a case?
Nora: Yes, a case of scotch.

Nick (when Nora asks why he wont take the case): I'm much too busy seeing you don't lose any of that money I married you for.

Nick: She's a very nice type.
Nora: You've got types?
Nick: Only you darling. Lanky brunettes with wicked jaws.

Yup, Nick & Nora rule.
