my favorite Kiefer Sutherland role isn't a movie it is the current tv show 24. It is such an awesome show! The writers of this show were also the writers of Nowhere Man, my favorite tv show of all time! Unfortanetly, that show was cancelled after only one season and I am starting to fear for this show as well because it is struggling with it's ratings. So everybody who reads this please watch the show. Save the show. I don't want this one dying on me as well.

I would have to agree with the TV show "24". Excellent show with an excellent idea, and great performance by Kiefer Sutherland. The show is great, and each week it just strings you along until it ends, leaving you pissed that you have to wait a whole week to see the next episode!

...also, in addition to being great in 24, I always like Kiefer's performance in the Young Guns movies.

I LOVED him in "Eye for an Eye". What an evil character he can play.
I also liked him in the two "Young Gun" movies.

Although it isn't a movie, Sutherland does a great job in the new Fox series "24". I am hooked onto that series, I watch it every Tuesady night.

The show only has 24 episodes to do, so it won't last very long. But I did read a few weeks back that Fox has ordered the last 11 episodes, so they will finish the show and you will see it all, you don't need to fear that they will shut the show down before it is supposed to.
Sutherlands best performance in my opinion is Dr. Shreber in Dark City. The best performance in the film, I love the voice pattern he used that was sort of hesitant, yet quick at the same time. Great character.

Top Five Kiefer Sutherland Performances
1) Jack Bauer in "24"
2) Dr. Daniel Poe Schreber in Dark City
3) The Caller in Phone Booth
4) Bob Wolverton in Freeway
5) Athos in The Three Musketeers
Damn fine actor; but he hasn't been nearly as good on film as he has been on television yet. (Of course, I still have quite a few of his to see.) Great voice, too.
