Two questions...

1. Is Ali the first biographical movie to be out while the subject is still living?

2. What person(s) would you like to see have a movie bio done?

The Hurricane with Denzel Washington was put out while the real Hurricane is still alive.

Bio of a person? I think Robert Frost would be interesting. Or maybe Ronald Reggan. I also think a bio on Julia Roberts would be great because maybe that way I could finally find out what her and her brother Eric are fighting about.

Erin Brockovich is an auto-biographical acoount of the real Erin Brockovich's life and she is still very much alive.

I would love to see a biographical film based on the life on Sigmund Freud because he was a very screwed up, yet intelligent man.

FlickJunkie,

For some reason I am. I am a Julia fan and I got hooked on Eric in the bad guy roles in a movie he played in with Kim Bassinger. I'm such an idiot tho. I cannot remember the movie. Richard Gere and Uma Thurman were in it too.

Anyway, yes I am, so please pardon me. I have searched hi and low trying to find out what happened. Believe it or not, I am not a "gossip junkie" usually. But on this subject I've turned into one. So, (be a pal???) if you ever hear anything, please let me know. I would love ya forever!

Almost Famous is based on the early years of Cameron Crowe's life, and he's still alive. Also The Basketball Diaries is based on the life of Jim Carrol and he is still alive. Blow is also a movie based on the life of George Jung and he's still living. Sorry, I love biographical movies, that's why I know of so many.

Anyway, a few people that need movie's based on there life are:

James Dean- with Leonardo Dicaprio playing the lead.

Franklin Deleno Roosevelt- with who else but Jon Voight in the lead.

The Beatles- with 4 members of N'SYNC playing the leads http://www.joblo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.joblo.com/ubb/wink.gif. (Just Joking)

William Shakespeare- with someone in the lead.

Joe Dimaggio- with Brad Pitt or Josh Hartnett in the lead, probaly Brad though.

Ulysses S. Grant(General in the Cival War and also the 18th president of the U.S.)- with Russel Crowe in the lead...

- Oh and one more thing, Eminem is working on a film that's based on the early year's of his life, and as far as I know he's still alive and kickin' http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif.

Nah, the Eminem movie isn't officially a biopic anymore. Now it's about a young Detroit rapper who looks, talks, and walks like Eminem, but hey...he ain't officially Eminem. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif

The movie you are thinking of would be Final Analysis - crap movie, but Eric was good in it. Soooo evil!
