The weekend just gone, saw a charity screening of Suddenly 30 (13 Going On 30 ). The proceeds were going to the Starlight Foundation, to a couple of kids who wanted to go to Disney Land. The movie was funny, and towards the end, I had a few tears in my eyes. 7/10

Good to see another Brisbane-ite on the board and someone else who enjoyed Suddenly 30, I rated it 7/10 as well. I caught it the weekend before on another special advance round.
This week (from the 23rd of August) I managed...
The Bourne Supremacy (8/10) Solid and entertaining, but not quite as good as the first
The Girl Next Door (8/10) Sweet, funny, raunchy, charming performances from Hirsch and Cuthbert, and a enjoyable turn from the guy you love to hate Timothy Olyphant
The Ladykillers (6/10) The weakest effort from The Coens, but fun all the same
The Life and Death of Peter Sellers (6/10) Is held up by its performers more than anything
