Lifeforce springs to mind with the nubile Mathilda May running around in her birthday suit for the film's entire running length.

On tv it has to be David Caruso in NYPD Blue. For some reason he seemed to bare his arse in nearly every episode. He must have thought he was starring in another kind of blue.

Are you serious? Yes, there was nudity in it, but I wouldn't even think of going so far as to say it's got some of the most nudity ever in a film. Movies like Showgirls have way, way more...and not because it's artistic, but because the director likes tits...

Pretty Baby had Brooke Shields naked for almost the last half of the movie. Of course, she was only 12, so it wasn't in the least sexy at all.

Then there are those B-horror movies. I can't name any specific because it seems about 90% of them have lots of nudity.

The original print of Eyes Wide Shut actually showed a lot more, from what I've read. Stan Kubrick just placed digital objects were we would see actual fucking and some penis nudity. For some reason, the censors see male nudity much worse than female. I never understood that concept.

Coincidently, I'm going to be renting The Dreamers over the weekend.

But for me, as it is now, Eyes Wide Shut is probably the most baring thing I've seen.

I actually don't think it's the fact that it's male full frontal, just that it's full frontal at all. I mean, they're pretty hard on female full frontal, but we still got some in R-rated movies like The Shining while we also got male full-frontal in stuff like Velvet Goldmine, and the R-rated cut of The Dreamers...

I think there was enough nudity certainly to mention it, maybe not throughout the film, but in certain scenes. However the fact that this was a relevent choice, as opposed to just showing tits to make money, is probably why it left a more lasting impression in my head.

Quite right. The orgy scene was digitally censored to prevent the movie from receiving an NC-17 rating. The reason the MPAA sees male nudity as worse than female is mainly because Hollywood is dominated by males, and males would rather see female nudity. It's downright wrong and quite sickening, but it's the truth. The other reason is perhaps that there has been so much more female nudity in movies that the people at MPAA are more desensitized to it.

Anyway, Eyes Wide Shut is definitely up there. Showgirls might be at the top. Road Trip had one insanely gratuitous scene of female nufity. Eurotrip has to be the winner for the film with the most male nudity.

Not the most skin-extensive movie, but one of my favorite examples of bare flesh is the T-X's lovely, heart-shaped arse in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. :) Another great ass sighting: Natasha Henstridge in Species II.
