Deff Leppard

I know I lot of you will bash this band because they were in the mainstream hair metal era, but I think Def Leppard is a great rock band.

there not hard, but there sound draws me in. There instrument playing is unique.

I dont like to say there up beat rock, because there not. There well hair metal. But very underated as far as talent goes.

not to mention there ballads fucking rock. "bringin' on the heartbreak" and Love Bites" have to be on my list of top ballads of the 80s.

What do you think of Def Leppard?

They're one of my favourite bands. Their early stuff is not even really poppy, but even the later pop oriented stuff is awesome. Great band and they're still going.

I really wasn't into hair bands at all back in the 80s, but I liked Def Leppard. I can't really put my finger on it, but something about them was a little different. And once Rick Allen lost his arm, crikes, how many bands would hold on to a one-armed drummer? I thought it was really cool they had kept him, and even more cool he kept rocking on.

Believe it or not my dad was at that concert when rick allen came back on stage for the first time. He said it rocked hard.
