I can't believe that there is no thread of this STUNNING woman yet.
Best known for her work in the Mummy movies, but mostly acting in more mature and serious drama movies. I think she is not only drop-dead gorgeus, but also a very talented actress. I first saw her in the Chain Reaction along with Reeves and Freeman, and I've been a fan since then. I think she has made some smart choices in her career, going back and forth between mainstream popcorn movies and low budget dramas and arthouse flicks. I just recently saw her strong performance in the excellent About A Boy .And damn was she oozing sex appeal in that one? Easily one of the most beautiful actresses working today... And unlike so many other celebrities, she is a very natural beauty. Looks great withour make-up too.
She has just been signed in Aranofsky's The Fountain, and that might finally be her big break to more widespread recognition.
Talenter, extremely beautiful and has that extra spark of class and wit going on with her.
YAY.

Some interesting tidbits for anyone who considers her as a no-talent bimbo:
- Studying English at Cambridge University, Weisz formed the Talking Tongues theater company and at 1991's Edinburgh Festival won a student drama award for a play she wrote and acted in. She was 20 at the time.
- She was awarded the 1994 London Critics Circle Theatre Award (Drama Theatre) for Most Promising Newcomer for her performance in Design for Living.
