So, which thread has been posted, re-posted, and than posted again the most time by some of these morons, to the point where you just scream, "LOOK UP, THE SAME THREAD HAS BEEN POSTED 14 TIMES ALREADY!!!!!!!" I say favorite, top 10, best ever, movie of all time must be stopped. There is a top 100 list, that covers everything! Leave it at that.

As far as I can tell, this should be in the Rant, Rant, Rant (http://www.joblo.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=33) forum.
But for the original post. I cant say it bothers me, the top movie thing. I doubt it bothers everyone who keeps posting in those threads. And as we can see, a lot of people post in there. Including me.

To me, its the fad of the month. Whatever the fad is, millions of threads get made about it.
Recently:
Lord of the Rings
Kill Bill vol. 1 & 2
Michael Moore
and most recent,
The Village.

The reason for those is that 34 out of 35 threads about Moore, get closed. They just keep comming. And will never stop.

The once every few months "What do you peeps think of Magnolia?" thread.
I have to go out and turn on the Greb signal and he has to call Lady E on the Hotline and we have to go into battle once more.

The overrated/underrated thread seems to be a much posted thread.

Most overated/underated movie of all time is different then most overated comedy, or most overated something else. Top 25 of all time, top 100 of all time top 50 all time, same EXACT topic just a different scale.

I have to agree. I shy away from overrated/underrated threads of all sorts now. I mean what are we really talking about in those threads? Perceptions of the consensus of perceptions of a film? Blah, I don't care. I prefer to read individual's responses to films -- not the volume of attention those films get.
