Hey Man,
Shoot me your address and I'll mail you part of a script me and my bud brian wrote. It totally rules!!!! It's called "The God Memoirs". We should start shooting within a month.
I don't have a scanner or I'd scan part of it in.

Sounds cool blag', You got a PM dude!
My current script/project is a zombie film, think of it as Romero's Dead with a Guy Ritchie feel to it. Most likely I will shoot it as a short, then see if I can generate some kind of interest in it! I have 3 screenplays under my belt...2 incomplete due to lack of interest, (Dont ask!) the third is close to completion. My pride and joy is a take on the vampire mythos, that I can honestly say has never been done. But it is nowhere near ready yet!!!

I have two screenplays I'm currently working on, the first one is a medieval horror thriller (think the Name of the Rose with a bit of demonism), the second one (and much less advanced) is about an haunted tv show... yeah, it should be silly.

I've made 2 short films and written a few screenplays.
One of the films is a 10-minute schlock horror piece with a few comedic nods to the genre....it was my first film and while not particularly good is filled with blood. :D It was shot on professional DV with a proper sound kit and everything, but the editor fucked it all up in the editing room and promptly lost all of the original footage, leaving me trying to salvage my work from a fucked-up cut of the film, not very successfully.
The second piece I acted as editor and on-set crewmember....a 4-minute short again shot on DV but the location is wonderful and the film looks stunning. You would NOT believe that we had absolutely no money to make this. This one was more of a character-driven thriller about revenge.
As soon as I get some webspace I'll post some pics.
On the screenplay front, I have a vampire and zombie film under my belt, a thriller/drama in the works, and a Lovecraftian horror film under way, which sees a small town host to the apocalyptic coming of the Old Ones.

I have one short movie that I have wrote. I am planning on starting Principal Photography this fall. I have to get my camera first. It is a horror involving this couple getting lost and some strange things happening.

I made one. I submitted it to a film fest. It didn't get in cause I was too young to be in Feature, but the movie was 98 minutes long. They said that the only Youth things had to be less than 15 minutes. They did say that they thought it was one of the best Youth films every made. That was very flattering.
I think I'm gonna try the NYC Horror fest and LA's Screamfest. They don't have a Youth thing, so I might be able to get in.

I don't post much, so many may not know me, but this thread seemd appropriate for me at this time. I've not made a film yet, I've finished one script that I must say has been well recieved among my friends and such. A zombie gangster script. Gangster, not gangsta lol.
A romero film collides with Resevoir dogs. I know, I know. Junk done tried this, but my script is as far from Junk I think as you can get.
A god hating low rent thug, threatend by the state who intend to take his teenage sister out of his custody lays his neck on the line for the one big score, but it gets him, and his sister trapped in an isolated farmhouse with the hitmen sent to kill them surrounded by zombies. If anyone wants to read it, just give me and email addy and I'll shoot it over to ya.
Currently I'm working on a script or a film i intend to shoot in october, but I've been hindered, I'm having trouble finishing the script, gathering the funds, actors and locations have been EASY to find. I can't get inspired. I don't have writers block in fact I have the exact opposite, I've got so many ideas in my head they are slamming into each other in my head. I guess you could say I have progression block.
The story is simple, a group of college age kids go camping, two of them discover a box that drives whoever touches it mad with greed, and they start killing each other off. Allie, who becomes lost and alone as a result of this, as to survive the woods, and a madman, she comes to the conclusion that he's gotta die before she can be saved.

Hello B.L., I started this thread in hopes that some how others like yourself would share in your hopes, dreams and passion for filmmaking. I have been mainly involved in the art field myself, but over the last few years I have been driven with a burning desire to make a feature film. I know how it is, believe me I know!
I have gone through so much shit trying to get it together myself, so your not alone and I feel you're in good company here. Inspiration can be tough, PM me sometime, I would like to discuss this problem that you're having getting started. Your concept sounds interesting. Well its getting late here, gotta rack!
Take Care, B.L.!
