In this category, we pick the ONE best film of 2001(so far). This is not a list. If you have a tie, pick the one you enjoyed slightly more. My vote goes to Ocean's 11. This flick was just as well acted and written as my number two flick, Memento, but it was more enjoyable.

Harry Potter And The Philosphers Stone is far and away the Best Film of 2001 in my opinion.

Oceans 11 is a very close second with The Others in third.

The Others is the best film of 2001, so far. It's the only one that gets the (in)famous 10/10 from me.

Ocean's Eleven (10/10)- Is the best film of 2001, I don't see any other movie taking it's place, it is just to good to be taken over..

Alright! I got to say it. GHOST'S OF MARS

JC took Assault of Precicnt 13,Prince of Darkness, and The Thing a created a masterpiece.

I know it may not be the best film this year, but it certainly is the best film that most movie goer's fail to recognize or ignore all together.

Why is LOTR the best of all-time???????? I thought the movie was great and very well directed, but best of all time is stretching it a bit. LOTR doesn't hold a candle to The Godfather!!!! The Godfather is the best of all time because it's so interesting, mind grabing, and entertaining. Sure LOTR is all those things as well but Godfather had more depth to it and is much more emotional then LOTR will ever be... Just My Opinion though...

My favorite movie this year has got to be Hedwig and the Angry Inch - I've seen it about a dozen times so far and its soundtrack is a permanent fixture in my CD rotation.

Runners-up: Mulholland Drive, Waking Life, Memento

Of the ones i have seen...
A.I. Artificial Intelligence

completely underrated, most of hte people who hate it dont understand it.

************SPOILERS****************
The "Aliens" at the end werent aliens they were robots showing that Jude Laws theory that when the end comes only the robots would survive was completely accurate.

Ocean's 11 has been unseated as best movie of the year by THE ROYAL TENENBAUMS!! This is a great movie, never stops entertaining for a second, and has the best cast EVER ASSEMBLED!
