I am watching "Wolf" right now and re-noticing just how GORGOUS this woman is. One of the most beautiful women there ARE . . . AND SHE'S LIKE 50!! It's amazing how good she looks, I bow to her.

And she CAN act. I dare someone to "Nay" her.

Yay - She is a great combo of looks and talent which is why she's still around. She was great in What Lies Beneath,I Am Sam, and Batman Returns. Who cares that she's old enough to be my mom (22 year age difference,btw ;) )? I'll take her over a 4 months younger than me Paris Hilton and other classless butterfaces (Lohan,Ashlee,et al) any day.

I think, like a lot of people, I'd almost forgotten how good an actress Michelle Pfeiffer is, that's what taking five years out from movies will do for you.
Thinking back on her performances she's always good value, even when the movies (Dangerous Minds anyone?) aren't.
I'm a particularly big fan of her work in The Fabulous Baker Boys and her slinky Catwoman in Batman Returns.
It's great that she's back, with four movies coming up. First is I could Never Be Your Woman which hardly looks groundbreaking but does look funny from the trailer. Then there's Hairspray, Matthew Vaughn's Stardust (with DeNiro and Claire Danes also in the cast) and, tentatively, Chasing Montana in 2008, from a screenplay by her husband.
She's always been so beautiful it's almost surreal and at 48 (49 on April 29th) she's aging like a fine wine. In the trailer for I Could Never she looks just the same as ever.

That, in case we need clarification, will be a yay.

I can't believe that I haven't commented about Michelle in this thread, even if a thread about her has already been started...

Yay, yay, YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To put it simply, she's one of my favorite actresses to watch on screen. The following are among some of the many reasons why I love her:

-She's a terrific (not to mention underrated) actress. Watch Dangerous Liaisons, The Age of Innocence, The Fabulous Baker Boys, Wolf, Batman Returns, Love Field, Frankie & Johnny, and White Oleander (among others) to see why. This woman can smoothly make the transition from being the all-American maternal, motherly type to a dangerous, seductive vixen, to a tough and independent woman who is ultimately revealed to have a heart of gold, etc. etc. all within the blink of an eye,
-She has one of the most spellbinding screen presences ever, that simply radiates intelligence, warmth, elegance, and alluring sex appeal, all of which are enhanced by the feline grace in her eyes.
-She made the ideal Catwoman, without a doubt one of the screen characters that I most love to watch. THE sexiest modern femme fatale ever.
-She seems like a genuinely nice, down to earth person.
-As SAI stated above, she hardly ever makes a bad movie, not even in her worst movies (hell, she was the only good thing about Scarface and I Am Sam).

I'm glad she's making movies again. Even if those films receive some of the worst reviews of the year, I'll be seeing them just for her.

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned the underrated Into The Night especially since it's known as the movie where she has a nude scene. I just rented it this week. Her and Goldblum had great chemistry in the movie.

She's becoming one of my top 5 favorite actresses in each movie of her's I've seen lately. She's definitely way more than a gorgeous face.

I don't know if I'd say that but it is amazing how great she looks considering that she's about to turn 49, that's just a year before 50!

And she's not just hot for her age. She's hot period. She puts many actresses half her age to shame!

Oh and of coarse she's such a great actress too. She FINALLY has a few movies coming out this summer after being absent for a few years.

i dare not say nay from fear of backlash, but meh. She's pretty , so what? She was laughable in Dangerous Liasons, Age of innocense, and Dangerous Minds. Frankie and Johnny was good, but then again i was watching Al Pacino. The Story of Us was bogus too.
