This is just an idea that popped into my head, I dunno if anyone has ever suggested it before. Around Christmas time, maybe everyone who wants to, and can afford to, participate can give their names and addresses all to one guy (Jo himself, maybe?) and then come a few weeks before the holidays, he can randomly assign addresses to everyone else, then they can either buy a DVD for their selected schmoe mail it to them, or buy it off of amazon.com or somewhere and have it shipped to their address, as a gift for the holidays. I know I for one would be willing to participate, and schmoes could either send a movie they highly recommend, a movie they think their schmoe would like, or one they know they like from their previous posts. And if everyone put their collection up, they would know what they already have.
December is still a ways away, but would anyone be interested in trying this? (It’s not an official JoBlo.com thing or anything, and it’s not something I’ve even discusses with Jo himself, it’s just an idea I thought I’d put out there.)
